"We couldn't stay there. We made the booking because they said that they accepted animals and whenx we arrived, we couldn't go in becaise our puppy. The lady on the reception was so rude and just shouting is " tje animal cannot be here, let it sleeping in your car". That was so bad, we have to leave and looking for another place in the night, dark and cold. So disappointed."

"The posada is a beautiful old building, perfectly maintained and spotlessly clean. Communication was a little difficult with the owners due to my limited Spanish and their limited English - but we managed! We had a lovely room and a very comfortable bed. It was 4km to drive to the nearest town for dinner. Breakfast was delicious, with lots of choice of local and homemade food. We stayed here on our way back to Bilbao airport after holidaying further west. It is very rural, south of Santillana...

"This hotel was in the prettiest little town which we loved. The room was a great size with plenty of space for our bags and a large nice bathroom. We were in a studio suite and would definitely recommend it. The town itself doesn’t have much to do as the local restaurant is only open during the afternoon during the week and then there is a one bar (cash only). If you’re looking for a quiet hotel in a quaint town this place is perfect! "
