"This cabin made a wonderful getaway from the Portland area as it’s so close, but so peaceful and out of the hustle and bustle! The hot tub under the treesand the nearby river were definitely some highlights"

"Beautiful, historic hotel with views of Mt Hood. Tiny town with a living history museum I was able to wander in the evening, but was unable to check out during open hours. A neat looking store/coffee shop down the street that I believe is closed Sundays. Of course, the day we were there. The hotel itself had a nice outdoor seating area, library, lobby and café. Food was great Off the beaten path, but worth the drive!"

"I had a short stay to do some bike riding and racing in the area. The room was simple and clean. It was super affordable and the location was perfect. Front desk staff was really friendly and helpful—even though I arrived late for check in. I’ll go back."

"My friends and I loved everything about this place. It was clean and quiet, the staff was great, and we loved that they served hot breakfast in the morning. We also enjoyed sitting in front of the fireplace in the lounge in the evenings. If we are ever in the area again we would most certainly stay here. Highly recommend this place."

"The front desk person was super friendly and accommodating as I had an elder with me and he changed our room to a bottom floor. The room was mid to low in upgrades, but good in size. All in all the price was right for the accommodations and overall we were just there to sleep and drive to our next destination so I would highly recommend this hotel if you are on the go."

"Very nice property, clean, spacious rooms. Location is set in a remote area of the woods. Beds are very comfortable. Restaurant had a good selection of meals. Beautiful outdoor area with fire pits. Friendly, nice staff. "
