Get away from it all with this beautiful cabin in Choctaw County, less than 25 miles from the campus of Mississippi State University.

This brand-new build features a master bedroom with a large private bathroom; an upstairs loft with queen bed, futon and full bath; a spacious great room; full galley-style kitchen; a covered wrap-around porch and a gorgeous westward-facing lake view.

The cabin is situated on 120 acres with trails perfect for hiking. The 17-acre lake is fully stocked and ready for your rod and reel.

The cabin is a high energy-efficient construction, powered with an off-grid solar array complete with backup generator.

This rental is perfect for football, baseball and basketball game weekends. Start your tailgate the night before on the porch, getting ready for an SEC series in StarkVegas.

NOTE: This rental maxes out at 6 adults. Parties and large gatherings are not allowed unless you have prior permission from the owners. If you are found to have hosted a party with more than 6 adults without permission, we will impose a $500 cleaning fee and notify VRBO that you have violated house rules.

There is no smoking or vaping allowed in the cabin at all and no smoking allowed on property. Evidence of smoking will result in a $250 cleaning fee and notification to VRBO of a house rules violation. Thanks for understanding.

There is high speed internet with YouTubeTV, plus several over the air channels and a video server with over 150 movies and TV shows ready to watch in HD. The cabin and area has good Verizon LTE service.

My family loved staying at this property! My husband and son enjoyed fishing in the lake while my daughter and I enjoyed cooking! We loved sitting on the porch and the fireflies were amazing! We want to go back in the fall with the changing leaves, cooler temps and less bugs! It’s the perfect cozy cabin!!

The cabin was very nice and had everything we needed. The sounds from the lumbar yard was pretty constant but not terribly loud. It does however, take away a little from the peace and quiet. I would definitely stay again if I to return to the area.

We have stayed at a lot of properties. We rent through this app, but this is definitely our favorite. The host could not have been more responsive and the property is well supplied. It was beautiful and made me want a cabin so badly! Location is great, near enough to campus to bebop back and forth, But it felt isolated in a great way when we were hanging at the cabin and enjoying the small lake. This was a great trip! I wholeheartedly recommend the property.

This year, we decided instead of a beach vacation that we wanted to do something more local and relaxing. We really just wanted a week to do nothing but spend quality time together. We absolutely loved the lake and cabin. We carried kayaks and had a wonderful time playing on the lake. My kids swam and fished every day. We carried corn hole boards and played more games than we can count. We cooked out and made homemade ice cream every day. If you are looking for a secluded getaway for you and your family this is it! Wonderful communication with the owner made check in a breeze. I cannot brag on this week enough. It was exactly what we were hoping for!
