"The villa is amazing. All amenities included, except WiFi. There is an odd request for £50 for this after we booked. The WiFi doesn’t reach upstairs. The pool and gardens are regularly maintained and are beautiful. The view is stunning. It’s an out of the way location, so peaceful but you need a car. Many beaches a short drive away. The villa is well managed and any requests were dealt with immediately. Definitely recommend a stay here for a peaceful holiday."

"We stayed at Portou House for 5 nights and had an excellent time. Very good location in Chania Old Town. Communication was great from start to finish with Julia being very responsive. We were pleasantly surprised with a bottle of wine for my Partner’s birthday which was a nice touch. "This is such a beautiful spot - peaceful, great view, 10 minutes from the beach and such a comfortable well appointed apartment. The terrace and garden were delightful too and we looked forward to coming back every day. Patrick was a very helpful and attentive host. He met us when we arrived to give detailed directions.
