"I had a peaceful retreat weekend at Spring House. The cabin was just as pictured on Vrbo. The picture windows in the dining room have clear views of the woods and the stream. I walked onto the deck to listen to the stream and look up at the trees, even though it was chilly outside. The cabin inside was warm and cozy. "Very nice room and view of sunset. Val at bar made excellent “orange cosmo” exactly like I requested! Food was pretty good could use some more easy to go snacks appetizers other than the main food menu. Or maybe just a burger or fish and chips if staying for an entire week. The calamari kung po was excellent. I like the old fashioned pecan ball without chocolate chips. Hot tub and pool vwry good. I would’ve said excellent if crystal clear water.Maybe check ph levels half way through the day. Front check in staff was excellent. He even came and checked on us at the pool ! I wish they had towels at the pool but understand. Very nice loungers. Love the music at the pool. Guests seated on deck watching sunset could see into our room unfortunately.TV a bit small. Cable channels pretty good ! "
