"What I did not like the most was the musty smell of the room. Did not bother to ask for room change as it will take a lot of time. Note that the smell stuck on my shirt after I woke up the next day. Also, the receptionist who took charge of our room assignments did not allow us for the three (3) rooms to be beside each other for the reason that they were not from the same booking. "The house is very isolated. Not feasible to walk back and forth to Sabang, where the closet market is located. The house had not been cleaned in weeks, which meant the beds were very dusty. Recommend bringing your own linens.
There was no drinking water or wifi, and breakfast was not included as advertised.
Power goes out often (not Bahay Isla's fault), so good luck sleeping when the weather is hot. "
