The staff was nice and helpful, especially Iris and the other lady with round glasses. It was quite difficult to open the door with the key locking in from the inside. I'd be terrified if I had to rush out for emergencies and would have to fidget and wiggle the key several times before it opens.

The staff at Villa Maia are exceptional. Always kind and smiling, helpful and attentive. They made a wonderful stay truly exceptional. The room was delightful. We were on the second floor with has a partial view of the city due to the large trees outside the window. A third floor stay would have unobstructed views. The pool and spa are excellent.

The staff were excellent. For a top dollar hotel it lacked that bit of luxury. Was a little disappointed to be allocated a room on the first floor as it didn't have the view the higher floors had.

Had a great stay at this hotel! It was very clean, the room was very comfortable, and the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly.

We had a one night stopover here before our flight. The room was clean and comfortable. It was fairly cramped and although there was a pleasant view from the window, we had to move the bed every time we wanted to enjoy it. We were grateful to have that view, and our request to have a high floor in the building was accommodated. The view was stunning. The parking was extremely useful to have right on the first floor of the building. Great if you rented a car. We parked and then were able to go exploring. The staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, a short but excellent stay.
