The property has not been taken care for a while. Run down facilities, not addressed. The staff was polite and willing to try, but the overall experience did not meet the expected level, especially for the price. There was no hot water for two days, despite the assurances that it would be repaired on time. Definately, I would not recomend this property, especially for the advertised price and level. Choose the adjusant hotel, instead.

L'état général laisse à désirer (poignées HS, faux plafonds et peintures coin SdB à revoir, coffres-forts en panne, électricité en panne le premier soir au retour aéroport, par exemple), la qualité du service n'égale pas celle de Barrières mais pdj, super et localisation au top. Transferts à revoir.

Great Oasis

My girlfriend and I visited Marrakech for the first time and we consider Villa Lavande to be a crucial part of the fun we had during our 6 day stay. Check-in: Smooth and very friendly, as we arrived in the morning and asked if we could check in sooner. They did their best to prepare a room as quickly as possible to make us feel welcome from the start. Room: Spacious, clean, charming, with nice outside space. The bed was great too. ' Location: Very favorably and centrally situated, while still not experiencing any noise from outside Facilities: As it is 'part' of a bigger hotel of which all amenities could be used, it is the best of both worlds - boutique hotel experience, with big hotel amenities available Breakfast: served whenever we were ready and highly customised to our wishes. Last but not least, the Staff: sweet, considerable and helpful people who did all they could to make us feel welcome and at home. Whether we needed recommendations, food / water at non standard times, something extra with the breakfast, or help to get back the denim jacket my girlfriend left in the taxi (they got it back!), we could always count on them. They were all great but special mention to Soufyan and Aissam, thanks for your awesome care! No doubt where we'll stay next time we're in Marrakech ;)

Great location!

The room was terrific unfortunately the dipping pool was not working at the time and that was a key reason I booked the property. I feel that the price was high based on the other options available in the same area.

Excellent expérience with excellent attention to detail from all staff. very good availability as to ensure a full and enjoyable experience at and away from the hotel. Detailed explanations as how to best explore the city based on very personal requirements. Nice and relaxing place to come back too after a long day in the hustle and bustle of this unique city.

Hyggelig riad/villa inne på et hotellområde

Vi var veldig fornøyd med oppholdet i Riad Villa Lavande. Butleren Abdel var svært imøtekommende, hyggelig, hjelpsom og profesjonell. Skulle gjerne hatt kjøleskap på rommet, men rommet var stort, rent og hadde gode senger. Bra å ha tilgang til det store bassenget på Naoura Barriere. (Vi were satisfied with our stay at Riad Villa Lavande. Our butler, Abdel, was very welcoming, nice, helpful and professional. We wish there was a refrigerator in the room, but the room was large, clean and had a comfortable bed. We were happy to have access to the large swimmingpool at the Naoura Barriere Hotel)

A villa within hotel complex

Lovely villa within a hotel complex so you get more privacy but with access to the hotel facilities. I think it is misleading to call this a Riad though. The villa had four guest rooms, a lounge, dining room and its own courtyard with a small unheated pool. The hotel has two restaurants, a bar, spa and fitness room. In the villa you have a 'butler', who was excellent and looked after us very well arranging bookings for restaurants and tours, and a maid who cooked breakfast and kept the room immaculate. Excellent location, within the medina, away from the hustle and bustle but only a short walk and you are into the souks.

Needs improvements

This is a private 4 bedder villa within an independent hotel property but it has nothing to do with that hotel management. This villa is in a good location and within walking distance to the Medina. They need to improve on the service, there are constantly missing items for the room.. that housekeeping didn’t it replace. Butler can only speaks French and Arabic which is hard for an international tourist. For the rate paid, I would expect better service.

Debuttanti allo sbaraglio

Trovarlo è già un impresa perché è una struttura indipendente all’interno di un grande complesso alberghiero (di cui non ricordo il nome) senza nessuna insegna Villa Lavande da nessuna parte. Dopo varie peripezie e numerose richieste di informazioni a tassisti e passanti siamo alla fine arrivati e ci ha raggiunto un addetto gentile ma inesperto e che non parlava inglese. Era l’unica persona presente, ci ha fatto parlare con il fratello al telefono per farci dire che la stanza prenotata e pagata non era disponibile per overbooking. Hanno provato a prenotare per noi un’altra stanza al Movenpick (centro congressi fuori dal centro, tutt’altra cosa di un tipico Riad!) pretendendo che la pagassimo noi e che chiedessimo noi il rimborso a Expedia. Alla fine ci siamo arrangiati per contro nostro, a tarda sera e dopo 8 ore di viaggio dall’Italia. Esperienza da dimenticare.

An Oasis

Great pool. Awesome spa. Quiet and personal Riad inside a great hotel complex. Location is ideal. The perfect getaway after a day of getting away (and happily lost) in the Medina.
