The room was pretty clean but the towels and beddings have stains and need replacing or to be washed better. The bar had 3 basic alcoholic cocktails which were nice but becomes a bit boring after a while. The staff at reception were helpful however I believe that they’re in cahoots with the taxi companies to rip you off! I advise finding a taxi man that you like that offers good prices and stick to them or use inDrive. From the hotel to the medina we were charged 150-200 which is extortionate as inDrive would have taken you for 50 dirhams. All in all, it is a decent hotel if you are on a budget. It gets the job done especially if you’re a group of 3 and don’t want to book 2 separate rooms.

Staff was excellent - beyond expectations. Only point worth improving are the kids activities, especially during rain/cold weather when you cannot use the pool.

Lovely big room but what makes it a special place to stay are the staff. The kids club team are amazing and the restaurant and bar staff are so friendly. The reception could be hit and miss depending who you got but it’s truly the staff that make this place special. Don’t be fooled by the heated pool. It’s freezing

We had a wonderful stay at Be Live and enjoyed the opportunity to explore Marrakech. The best part was the fantastic tours organized by Mehdi and his colleague, especially the hot air balloon ride at sunrise in the desert.

This is a fantastic hotel for a family holiday. We went with our 3 year old, and there was plenty to do in the daytime and entertainment in the evening. The swimming pool has a great shallow / paddling section, and the splash pool with little slides is great. The kids club is quite well equipped, and the playground and trampoline were a really great addition too. The staff were all super friendly, probably the best I’ve ever encountered in a hotel anywhere!. The buffets were good - I really enjoyed some of the Moroccan dishes, and of course there were also the general hotel buffet dishes, so there is something for everyone. The drinks were fine- the wine was quite nice and the piña coladas were very tasty! There were lots of families with children there - ranging from babies to older children, all having a lovely time, so it’s really ideal if you have a family. The evening entertainment included dancing for the children for half an hour before the main entertainment. But there were also plenty of couples /groups of friends too, so I would say the hotel suits everyone.

Wir haben uns auf Grund der Ansicht guten Bewertungen und der schönen Bilder deutlich mehr erwartet. Leider wurden wir aber großteils enttäuscht. Bereits der Check In hat relativ lange gedauert. Wir haben dann ein Zimmer mit Blick auf die 4 spurige Straße bekommen. Nachdem dieses ziemlich laut war, haben wir direkt um einen Zimmerwechsel gebeten. Dieser hat dann bis zum Nachmittag des nächsten Tages gedauert und wir wurden bei jedem Besuch an der Rezeption immer wieder auf später vertröstet. Der Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption hat überhaupt besonders genervt gewirkt. Insgesamt ist das Personal aber sehr bemüht und ausgesprochen freundlich! Man hat den ganzen Aufenthalt allerdings das Gefühl gehabt, dass das Hotel mit der Anzahl an Gästen überfordert ist. Beim Essen waren regelmäßig die Behälter leer und die Küche ist nicht hinterher gekommen. Auch die Köche an den live cooking Stationen waren unterbesetzt und es haben sich lange Schlangen gebildet. Das Essen war generell nicht gut und leider sehr langweilig bzw. auch nicht abwechslungsreich. Das Hauptrestaurant wirkt wie ein Speisesaal und hat den Flair einer Autobahnraststätte...

Kids club exists but doesn't function. The ladies were on there mobile phone and random men were in the kids club. We couldn't leave our kids there. Food was okay but very few items. Swimming pool wasn't warm enough and no indoor pool.
