"My stay at the resort was decent. The staff was nice for the must part, language barrier at times was an issue but nothing that would ruin the stay. The resort is nice, far from the city but good if you prefer quiet mornings and nights. The amenities on the resort i.e gym are not usable in my opinion, very dated and unclean space. The room are clean but dated hwever I did not mind the rustic like flare. If you are looking for over the top luxury this is not the resort for you. This is budget...

"I just returned from a 9 night stay avdchete are my observations: The hotel is very centrally located and just seconds away from the beach and the main bars and restaurants. It has good sound proofing so no disruption to sleep or rest. They have backup power generators so no disruption to air conditioning, hot water etc. There are lots of stray dogs around but they don't bother you. The area felt safe but Blue Velvet has 24 hour security for peace of mind. The restaurant staff are great...

"Absolutely incredible experience! It’s so clean and the rooms are stunning with the best view. The dinner was delicious and so was the breakfast! And there are no words for how wonderful the staff are. There English is amazing! The classes are definitely working and they went out of their way to ensure you had an amazing time and had everything you needed. As a solo female traveler this is one of the best places I have stayed! "
