A lovely location with lots of outdoor seating if you just want to relax. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and everyone on staff was helpful.

I showed up two hours early and it was a holiday and the staff were still there and ready to check me in. Place was clean, spacious, tons of patio space and a restaurant plus there was no one else there so it was like a villa to myself. Watch out for falling mangos, other than that, slice of paradise within paradise

We had a wonderful six night stay recently. The owners and staff were super friendly and welcoming. The property is lovely with a very relaxing vibe, and lots of attention to detail. The food was excellent. My boyfriend appreciated the cigar lounge. We rented a car and found it accessible to beaches and restaurants for the evening. We would definitely go back! Merci for a wonderful stay!

Our stay here was lovely. The property itself and room was nice. The restaurant area with included breakfast was very pretty and had a lot of charm. Jennifer, the server was a friendly addition and knew our morning order by the second day. We were disappointed that by 9pm all the outdoor lights and music were shut off by the pool/courtyard. We found this to be really early, particularly after a full day when you look forward to quietly relaxing with a glass of wine. This was true all 3 evening we stayed, which was a shame as they have beautiful lighting that adds to ambiance. This place has a lot of character and charm. It was in a lovely location. I would recommend overall and was great value.

We really wanted to leave a good review of Villa du Kapress because the staff were so lovely and overall the villa is really nice, we also had one of our best meals here while we were on St.Maarten. The Villa was also nicely located so we’re weren’t right in the craziness, but a short drive away. But, there were somethings that took away from our experience. We weren’t given any towels in our room for the stay, and the bedding in the rooms was a bit stained. It did feel a bit untidy around the Villa in common spaces too. On our last night there, the Villa hosted a wedding. We were not informed of this and there was loud music from the Wedding until 2 AM. It would have been nice to be informed. And lastly, I did get food poisoning from our breakfast on the last morning. It was the only place my boyfriend and I ate slightly differently, and I was the only one who got sick. Again, we wanted to give this place a good reviews, because it does feel like a paradise when you look around, but there were a few pieces that really took away from our stay.

Fab property. Ideal if you have a car. Spotlessly clean, comfortable and very nice host. There are 2 small dogs but they they are friendly too.

Everything about Villa Kapresse was excellent, from the welcoming entrance to the comfortable rooms to the large, lush, pool area. The people were wonderful and breakfast was more than the usual "continental". It's near the main road, so it can be noisy during the day (not at night and not in the rooms). We didn't have a car, but there are few nearby amenities, so it's easier if you do have one.

This is a quaint place off The beaten path owner and staff are very friendly and helpful. The chef is great. The grounds are beautiful lots of fruit trees very close to Loterie Farm and Grand Caste. About a 15 minute ride from the Dutch side.

It was like coming home! Villa Kapresse not only met our expectations, but surpassed them. We felt right at home from the very first night. We had dinner at the restaurant, which kicked off a perfect stay. The food was delicious and the ambiance was so relaxing. The continental breakfast was more than we could want, delicious fresh bread and our fruit and yoghurt bowls were excellent. The staff is beyond friendly and super helpful with ideas for things to do during the stay. Our room was super clean and thoughtfully decorated. The AC and fan worked great and the terrace was a nice surprise. The entire Villa is well maintained so we felt like we were in an exclusive space on the island. The location was perfect as we were centrally located. If you want a real home experience of St Martin, instead of the same ‘ol tourist stay, then book a stay at the Villa. You won’t regret it. Special thanks to Yohan and Jenifer (hope I spelled it correctly). We will be back and book here again!

Le personnel très aimable, la Gérante très agréable, Cet hôtel a un charme particulier. Il manque un peu de nettoyage et de rangement pour que cela soit parfait. Je recommande à tous ceux qui travaillent sur Margot.

We just loved everything about this property!! Angel the host and her family were so wonderful! We felt so safe and so welcomed. The rooms were amazing and the team made sure we had everything we needed at all times. I can not say enough great things about Kapresse! They had such a lovely outdoor space where we could have dinner and breakfast. Beautifully decorated and so comfortable. I can’t wait to return to visit again next year:)) thank you Angel for making sure our stay was extra special. Xxx

Very nice guest house

It is a very nice guesthouse. However, it is a little tricky to find, and there are not many signs to guide you, just a very faded La Kapresse sign and a Sanctorium sign. The property is situated on a very busy road, so it can be quite noisy. However, the property and the staff are amazing. They also have a bar by the pool with happy hour, which is amazing when you come back from your excursions. Laura and Karim, the Venezuelan waitress, were amazing and made our stay truly special. I included some photos of the entrance to identify the guest house entrance.
