"Apartment is better than the pictures. Located in village center, very convenient. Very functional living room & kitchen - super important when you are in such a little village in winter, as all restaurants were closed by 8pm. You need to cook! Well equipped. Only thing missing, to my view, is a dish washer. It would be so much nicer if we did not have to wash everything by hands. "Charming property with great charm and character in the middle of a beautiful village. We came for a wedding at the Abbey, which was steps away from the hotel. We had a clean room with a comfortable bed and separate toilet and shower room. Bathroom was basic but clean and the room rates are extremely reasonable, especially considering it was high season. The staff are all very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast is excellent and we were very glad to have it, as there are not many dining options in Aubazines. We did not try eating at the restaurant on site, as all our dining was with family elsewhere, but be aware that everything is closed on Sunday evenings, save for a pizza can that may show up on the square. There is parking available, but it is hard to find behind the hotel and awkward to access the hotel from, with a lot of rough steps and uneven ground, so not recommended for anyone with mobility issues. It was very hot during our stay and old properties like this have no AC. A standing fan was thoughtfully provided and much appreciated. I would definitely stay here again if visiting the area."

"Nous avons passé 15 jours de vacances très agréables. Tout était exactement comme nous le recherchions : calme, repos et détente.L’établissement était très propre, et le personnel a été particulièrement gentil, accueillant et toujours disponible tout au long de notre séjour.Le seul petit point à améliorer concerne la carte du restaurant. Pour un séjour de plus d’une semaine, comme cela a été notre cas, le choix est un peu limité avec seulement 3 ou 4 plats principaux. Au bout de quelques jours, on finit par manger souvent la même chose. Un renouvellement de la carte chaque semaine serait un vrai plus pour les vacanciers qui restent longtemps.Dans l’ensemble, nous sommes très satisfaits de notre séjour et recommandons cet établissement."

"Tres chouette gîte situé dans un paysage magnifique. Gîte isolé très calme ou seule la nature nous entoure. La vue depuis le gîte est juste magnifique. Le gîte est spacieux et confortable. Tout le nécessaire pour passer un chouette séjour s'y trouve. Nous y avons vraiment passé une merveilleuse semaine. Et le propriétaire est très sympas et disponible et de bons conseils."
