"We had a lovely holiday and really enjoyed our stay. The hotel has many great facilities, especially the spa and gym, which were a real bonus. Our child absolutely loved the nursery, and there was a great selection of activities to keep them entertained. The lunch and dinner buffets were very good, with plenty of choice. However, after a longer stay, we felt the menus became quite repetitive. It would be nice to see a little more variety throughout the week, both at breakfast and during lunch and dinner. One suggestion would be to serve breakfast until 10:30am. On several mornings, food started being cleared away before 10:00am, which felt a little rushed. As the hotel has such a relaxing atmosphere, it would be nice if breakfast service reflected that and remained fully available until the advertised finishing time. Our room wasnā€™t one of the newer refurbished rooms, as none were available to book, which was understandable. However, the shower was a real disappointment. The water temperature constantly changed from freezing cold to boiling hot without anyone touching the controls, making it very difficult to shower comfortably, especially with a child. We reported this and requested that a plumber look at it. Although we were told someone had attended, unfortunately nothing seemed to have changed and the problem continued for the rest of our stay.
