"A homely, traditional house with outside space set in a quiet rural position. The house was very clean and the welcome from the owners warm and friendly and they were very willing to provide lovely meals if required. A good base for visiting the Istrian resorts but not an easy walking access to the nearest beach."

"We chose this house mainly because of location…visited Rovinj, Pula, Motovun. The house is an old farmhouse that offers a quiet, relaxing place with many modern perks such as a pool. The owner is easy to work with and very accommodating. Thanks, Alen…we had a great time!"

"Es war unser erster Urlaub in Istrien, die Suche nach einem Ferienhaus führte uns nach Marcana ins Holiday House Lavanda. Der Empfang von Mirjana und Emil war sehr herzlich. Im Haus befand sich alles was man für einen Urlaub benötigt. Wer Ruhe sucht ist hier genau richtig. Was im Ort Marcana fehlt ist ein Bäcker."

"Unser Familienurlaub in Rakalj bei Fam. Kolic war sehr gelungen. Wir waren zwei Wochen dort und haben viel erlebt. In der liebevoll eingerichteten Wohnung fühlt man sich gleich wohl und die Gastfreundschaft von Martina Kolic und ihrer Familie war sehr herzlich. "Einfach toll! Wir wurden empfangen, als ob man bei den Eltern von Freunden übernachtet. Das Haus bietet alles was man braucht. Der absolute Wahnsinn war der Boatstrip mit Patrick (Sohn). Ein Erlebnis, was keiner von uns mehr vergisst, sogar mit Angeln von Calamari. Danke!!!"

"Everything as we expected. Wonderful hosts. Great base for exploring or just chilling by the pool. Air con sure helped for August. Kids claim the WiFi excellent. Village has wine shop and bread shop that also does milk and ice creams, so that was our essentials sorted. Hope to be back!"

"Wir hätten es für unsere Bedürfnisse nicht besser treffen können. Vermieter_innen super und sehr herzlich. Das Haus ist liebevoll hergerichtet und hat Flair. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Der Außenbereich ist sehr weitläufig und einfach sensationell. Vor allem ruhig .... Vom Trampolin bis Jacusi, Grill Bereich, Sitzbereich außen unter der Pergola mit Weinranken bis überdacht für schlechtes Wetter. Blumen und Pflanzen liebevoll arrangiert. Leider waren wir für die Feigensaison noch zu früh...

"Die Vermieterin war sehr nett und hat uns Tipps und Tricks gesagt/gezeigt. Die Unterkunft ist traumhaft. Sie liegt etwas abgelegen, der nächste Bäcker ist einen Kilometer weg und die nächsten Restaurants ca 5 km wir fanden die Lage wunderbar und genießen unseren Urlaub dort sehr! Wir würden definitiv wieder kommen! Wir freuen uns auf ein baldiges Wiedersehen:)"

Great Istrian property in a superb location
"A well appointed villa situated in a small village convenient for beaches, visiting local towns and nearby restaurants. Easily accessible from airport. Hosts very welcoming and nothing too much trouble. Excellent welcome hamper - best we’ve ever had. Lovely pool and outdoor seating area. Highlights of our stay visiting Pula,Porec,Labin, Pazin and two boat trips (one very local from Krnica was excellent). Several interesting local beaches within 5-10 minute drive which would definitely recommend, and hosts gave very helpful suggestions both about these and local restaurants. Had a fantastic holiday plenty for two teenagers to enjoy as well."
