Clean and spacious. Had everything we needed for the week.

The house worked very well for our group of 4 adults and 4 kids. The kids loved the swimming pool. A highlight of the trip for all the guys was fishing with Jay. Sombrero beach is close and easily accessible. Can't wait to go back.

Beautiful vacation home

Six of us (three couples) had a wonderful time for over a week in this beautifully decorated, clean home. There was more than enough room for all of us. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool and had quick access by boat to the awesome fishing in the area. Sherry was so kind and helpful, couldn't have had a better experience. We will definitely be back to this home.

Wonderful Vacation

The house is a great place to relax. Enjoyed the pool and sitting by the canal and watching the fish.The kitchen is well appointed and had everything we needed, The beds are super comfortable and after a long day of exploring Marathon we were asleep before we knew it.The host Sherry was wonderful and responded quickly to all of our questions, are only problem was that we were only there for a week... not nearly enough time.

Great HOme in Marathon

3 Couples shared this home for a week in Marathon and we had a great time, Enjoyed the privacy of each bedroom having its own bath, the heated pool and the great restaurants in the area.... although we did make use of the kitchen for most evening meals and it was very well stocked. Great Trip... Great Friends.... Great House!

Stayed a week June 4-11. Had tropical storm but that did not affect our fun. Sherry as well as the home were top notch. Could ask for nothing more. We brought out 31' ft boat and docked at house. Easy access and minutes to ocean. We will be back.

The Brocks/The Worthingtons and family

This was our second annual trip to this property and we are in love with this place. Perfect access to fishing, restaurants, sightseeing and evening boat rides. The owners always make sure we have everything we need and that's what makes it even more special to us! Two boats parked in the canal, kids always in the pool, and something always in the blender and on the grill. Our perfect vacation spot!!! It's our paradise. Thank you!

Thanksgiving break

All excellent Things to improve Kitchen is not equipped the greatest. Dull knifes, used pots and pans that have warped. Had to go buy our own soap and shampoo under excuse of covid Cable tv is limited on choice Otherwise very good location Again just a few things to improve

Upgraded, tranquil property - excellent host

Due to Miami airport flooding, we had had a nightmare 13 hour travel day with a toddler in tow. The drive down from Miami, I just kept worrying something would be wrong with the rental too. What a relief to drive up the quiet street (at almost 11 PM) to the house warmly lit, with soft music playing in all the rooms. It was far roomier than the pictures online suggested, everything was clean and upgraded. The pool was heavenly and the host so caring and responsive. Michelle even came over on a Sunday to handle a few small issues. Only minor complaints are the blender shown in the pictures was missing and with the exception of the master, there is limited closet/dresser space. Thank you again Michelle for everything!

Everything we needed...and so much more!

I can not say enough great things about this home! We booked this location for 4 adults and a 21 month old. My husband, daughter and I met my parents for an 8 night vacation. The division of this house allowed us to all have separate quarters at night. My parents were able to take the front bedroom and we could close off the rest of the bedroom space for us and our daughter. Gave everyone privacy for a great nights sleep. The men enjoyed fishing the canal and the women enjoyed lounging by the pool- which was beautiful with a gradual depth increase. The home was clean and equipped with everything we needed. Not once did I think "I wish we had that". We cooked in several nights and found all tools needed to prepare, eat, and clean up delicious seafood dinners. Most of our seafood was caught aboard the agents charter boat with Captain Jay and included tuna, snapper, and lobster. We took several other fishing charters during our stay and none were as enjoyable or rewarding as the trips with Captain Jay. Our daughter enjoyed the aquarium and Theater of the Sea. I highly recommend this property. Sherry and Jay were amazing to work with. They make a great team! Even our daughter is saying she misses her vacation house!

Fabulous vacation, great house and wonderful hosts

We had a fabulous stay in Marathon. Six of us (3 generation-family) stayed for a week and were super comfortable in this house. The pictures represent the home very well. Only one bathroom really wasn't a problem for six adults, and we understand that additional bathroom(s) will be added soon! The house is very clean, the open floor plan is awesome and the kitchen well suited for cooking. We enjoyed most of our time outside by the pool or sitting on the dock. We cooked several meals on the gas grill and enjoyed dining and playing cards at the patio table. Sherry and Jay were great hosts and very responsive to our questions and requests. While in Marathon we enjoyed the Seafood Festival, watched the sunset on 7-mile bridge, visited Crane Point, spent a day in Key West and spent a day fishing with Captain Jay and Sherry! They picked us up at the house and Jay cleaned all the fish for us when we returned! We cooked most of our meals at the house but did enjoy iHop for breakfast and Upper Crust Pizza one evening for dinner. While in Key West, we had a wonderful dinner at The Stoned Crab and enjoyed some time at Hogs Breath. We also toured the island on the Conch Train - nice way to get closer to some of the main attractions. The weather was perfect for us - 85 and sunny every day. A great break from Minnesota weather. We definitely weren't ready to leave!

Best vacation rental to date!

We couldn't have been more pleased with this vacation rental! We are definitely planning more trips to Marathon an plan on using this vacation home again if it's available! We took our 4 month old daughter with us for 2 weeks to escape from the polar vortex that hit the north last year! This vacation home had everything we needed an more!! We didn't even feel as though we were in a rental property! It just felt like home from the moment we stepped inside! We just stocked the fridge with items to cook and anything else we needed to prepare the meals was already there! The money we saved by not staying in a hotel and eating out 3 times a day more than made it worth every penny! Plus you can't put a price tag on making memories that last a lifetime! All 3 of us soaked up the sun by the beautiful pool an enjoyed using the floats that were already on the property! They even had a floaty that our 4 month just loved! We also lounged out by the canal to catch fish & the beautiful views of the ocean morning an night! We enjoyed cooking our fresh caught fish on the awesome weber grill outside(as soon as we returned home we purchased the same grill)! We even met some friendly neighbors during our stay. A couple from down the street from Wisconsin who were escaping the same polar vortex as us & then some wonderful local folks! I must say we had a wonderful time an made some life long friends I do believe! I highly recommend anyone who's looking for a very nice,clean, & worry free vacation rental to use this property!! Trust me, from my experiences of renting vacation homes you will NOT be disappointed with this one!

family fun in the sun

Our family had such a great time here! It was myself my husband my son (4) and daughter (1) and my parents. There was plenty enough room for everyone. The kitchen had everything you needed and more, and take it from me since we did 90% of our meals here ! Sherry was wonderful to work with. Her husband came by once to check on us and let the guys in on the info for bait to fish right off the dock that is literally 6feet from the back slider. The pool guy came by a few times as well which ensured the pool was always ready for use, and we used it every single day!! My son had no problem finding all the pool toys there. We saw so much wildlife from the back yard it was great! It was truely a home away from home. Everyone loved it and everyone we met was friendly and helpful. You are only about an hour away from key west and the sunset at mallory square was great but the hidden gem staying at this house is seven mile bridge, its about 5 minutes up the road and if you park in the little lot and go on the pedestrian bridge you will have the most incredible sunset experience ever, not super crowded but everyone still cheers and you are guaranteed a front row spot. The only thing I would say that would make the house better from a concerned mothers perspective is an additional lock up high on the slider or at least one of those alarms that beeps when the slider opens because my son who is only 4 figured out how to unlock and open the door and would let his 1 year old sister out and the pool and dock is only mere steps away with nothing to stop them from falling in. It never became a problem but its because we had multiple eyes on them but i did have some nightmares about him waking up in the middle of the night and going out there on his own. Just a concerned momma but it is pretty kid friendly minus that part. I am sure that next time we go to the keys we will more than likely stay here again as it was clean wonderful and effortless. Thanks so much for a great week!!!!

Such a great 2 weeks!

I'll start by saying, we've been coming to the Keys for years and had really specific requirements for a house (just things we've come to prefer over the years). This house exceeded every expectation! We had a wonderful time at the property! Everything was clean and very well maintained. Beds were all very comfortable, showers had great pressure and hot water, even found a good supply of necessities (dish soap, trash bags, laundry soap). Dock was wonderful! We fished every night and the water was very calm for our boat. Great outdoor bait freezer and fish cleaning station. Pool is HUGE for a residential pool. Deep too! Kids stayed in anytime we were home and had lots of "night swims". We made use nightly of the grill and had coffee every morning under the Tiki Hut. Take my advice and walk down to the ice cream shop at the end of the block, best fresh made ice cream and popsicles. Michelle was super responsive and always available if we had questions. She even sent a few texts with information on Turtle's being released. Would stay here again in a heart beat! Thanks for the wonderful memories

Stay in Marathon

Great rental inclluding all items to be comfortable. Pool was clean and great as was the yard and the location on the canal . Caught many fish a nd enjoyed the light boat traffic. I do recommend the addition of grab bars around the toilets and showers. iI am handicapped and grab bars would have been welcome and add to safety in those areas.

Stellar Stay

We loved our vacation at the property. We took my 88 year old dad with us. We spent the majority of our day under the Tiki Hut playing various games. The pool was great. The landscaping contributed to the feeling that we were at a tropical resort. We only ate out a few times because the kitchen was great for cooking meals. Michelle, the property manager, communicated with us and promptly answered questions. The house was perfect. We plan to return.

Clean and comfy .

Great place for 6 adults (3 couples) (only a few twin blow ups for extra sleep space) but- Place was clean and well furnished. Comfortable living space- only downside is no kitchen counter space or island in the kitchen so a challenge if you want to cook. But a Huge fridge and plenty of cookware, dishes, etc. Would definitely recommend or return.

Accessible getaway.

This rental property is exactly as pictured. The house was clean, including the pool, and it was equipped with the basics. It is a single level home which made it totally accommodating for my family’s needs. I also found the location to be ideal if you are looking for a central point to explore Key West along with Key Largo without day trips feeling too long. The keys are a magical place and would highly recommend this property to anyone.

HOME AWAY FROM HOME. WE WERE ABSOLUTELY BLOWN AWAY!!! THIS WAS MY 50TH BDAY GIFT FROM HUSBAND. A WEEK IN FLORIDA/CHARTER BOAT OFF SHORE FISHING AND NEW YEARS EVE. WE STAYED DEC 27-JAN 3. THE HOUSE WAS OPEN, AIRY, BEAUTIFUL, HOMEY, COMFORTABLE, RELAXING. THE LOCATION ITSELF FELT VERY PRIVATE, SITUATED ON THE CANAL IN QUIET NEIGHBORHOOD. POOL AND TIKI HUT AMAZING SEATING FOR 6. OUTDOOR GRILL FOR DINNERS. ALL APPLIANCES AND FURNISHINGS ALL A+. BEDROOMS ALL VERY COMFORTABLE. WE STOPPED AT PUBLIX AND BOUGHT $600+ FOR OUR WEEK STAY OF GROCERIES. (WIN-DIXIE CHEAPER) WE DISCOVERED LATER. WE HAVE ZERO COMPLAINTS ON THIS PROPERTY. WOULD LOVE TO STAY HERE AGAIN!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SHARING YOUR BEAUTIFUL HOME!!

Amazing stay

Stunning house, very clean, family friendly, and also great for elders since the house is literally ground level which can be hard to find at times on a canal with a pool. Location is close to everything in marathon. We had a boat for 5 days very easy access out ocean even in 26 footer. Fishing outback is also fun! 100% recommend!
