Find hotels in Maple Heights, Bloomington

"We arrived and were told to park in a certain parking spot, but that if someone was in it, just park somewhere else, that they didn't police it (what's the point of having assigned parking). The place is old and tired (rotting siding, balconies need staining, etc.)and looks it. We get in the room and the remote for the bedroom TV was way under the bed and then that TV didn't work (They did come and fix it right away). This was obviously an OLD apartment building and the living room had a second bed in it instead of a couch,and only one chair so if a couple wanted to watch tv, one had to sit on the bed. When we finally did get into the bed, the mattress was obviously very old. It sagged so much in the middle that it was VERY difficult to get out of and, though we love each other very much, were almost forced to sleep in the middle together instead of on each side of the bed. I called the front desk to get some extra towels and the lady acted as though it was a big hassle to give me a couple extras. The toilet would keep running and we had to jiggle the handle (an easy fix, if they were inclined to do it). So many other things too, but this should be enough to tell you, don't stay here. The price was good, but not worth it. It's an old, rundown building and needs a complete overhaul, if not razing and starting over."

"Parking was secure, walkable, and reasonably priced. Location is excellent. Had to wait 2-3 min for hot water, but that was my only complaint. "

"The hotel was conveniently located just off I-69 at Third Street. There was ample parking. Everything looked clean and new. Our room had two big-screen TVs—never seen that before. The beds were comfortable. The ceiling was high, contributing to an airy, open feel. The hotel had a fitness center and an indoor pool. The free breakfast had a good variety of food—eggs, hash browns, make-your-own waffles, cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, fruit juice, bread, English muffins, fresh fruit, and coffee/tea. There were lots of restaurants, grocery stores, and other retail stores within walking distance or a 2-3 minute drive. My only issue was with the hotel's free WiFi, which only intermittently allowed me to access the Internet. If this had worked better, the stay would've been perfect. We'd happily stay here again the next time we're in Bloomington."

"Very basic motel near IU campus and sports complexes. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. The parking lot and outside was well-maintained and brightly lit. No amenities that we saw, but we were only here for one evening and only used the room to shower and sleep. The gentleman who checked us in was very friendly and pleasant. I would stay here again. "
