"Owners were charming and friendly however the accommodation was quite the worst we have ever seen. Most of the work seemed to have been done as DIY but to appallingly low standards. Whilst efforts had been made to decorate no cleaning seemed to have been carried out. The cooker hob was still soiled from previous use and all light switches were unclean. "The staff were lovely but the condition of the 1st floor was horrible. It smelled of urine & cigarettes. The room looked clean but the smell was horrible & the door had no safety locks. I slept in my clothes & changed to shower & add fresh clothes before leaving. My 13 year old grandson asked if it was a hostel. I paid for 2 nights but we did not return & got a room in another place. "
