The children loved having the alpacas close by and would go and visit them every morning. Beds were comfortable, the shower was nice and powerful. "We had a lovely stay at Kingfisher cottage. The grounds of Maesgwynne Mansions (on which this small courtyard of cottages is situated) are lovely; this time of year flowering rhododendrons are a highlight, and a walk around took us past the fishing lake and neighbouring fields with various farm animals. There are fabulous views, and the outdoor swimming pool had a cover enabling us to use it even in early May. very peaceful & highly recommended."

"Stayed here for 3 nights. I honestly can't say anything too bad about Malin house hotel. The room was clean,tidy and smelt fresh. The furnishings are fairly basic but everything you need is there including a fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. The shower room /toilet was clean and fresh. My only disappointment was that the matress on the bed was a little worn and springy. Also the grounds outside are beginning to look a little tired and could do with cleaning up and referbishing a bit. Overall it was a pleasant stay and represents excellent value for money."

"We have just had a fantastic 3 night stay at the Hotel Mariners. The location was perfect for travelling to Skomer Island (30 mins away) but still have the convenience of restaurants and a supermarket in walking distance. The room was spacious and clean. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. As we had not planned anything for our second day, we asked for suggestions and picked on seeing the lily ponds at Bosherton. The day did not disappoint and the views of the beach were spectacular. We ate in one night and the food was delicious. The only thing that could have improved our stay, was a more powerful fan during the extreme heat!"

"Read the reviews and was slightly put off. But having spent the whole weekend at the hotel, my mind was changed. Staff were very helpful with all questions and information needed. Grounds and views are lovely. Used the spa and pool and enjoyed every minute. Check in and out was very easy, food was amazing (especially the lamb). Will definitely be back to visit in the next few weeks. Only thing I would ask if bottles of water could be put in the annex room, as im very fussy and refuse to drink tap water."
