This is a beautiful hotel and centrally located, close to shopping malls and restaurants. The entire staff were so helpful and always professional, I was so impressed and they made my stay comfortable and enjoyable. The room layout and mountain/city view was wonderful, one of the best and most unique hotels I've been to. My fiancé and I were treated with a lovely velvety birthday cake in my honor 💖 I love the meticulous care and attention of the staff, especially the cleaners who replenish the supplies of our room, even asking us if we need more of the complimentary water bottles. The front desk is outstanding – we even bought one of the Philippine Eagle stuffed toys that go to the charity foundation. The Spa ladies are terrific. Some cons (but not really cons): -We don't mind that the safe in the room has seen better days; it's totally understandable about the wear and tear of the safe and the corner window's handle as well. We believe the friendliness and the promptness of the staff made up for that. -The restaurant Cucina is higher end – make sure to dress smart casual as the clientele are mostly business and luxury expats. The Cucina staff are considerate and friendly, particularly the younger staff who are more attentive and always have a genuine smile on their face. (Truly appreciate that, especially in the morning!) The senior head waiter who shows up earlier could use some good bedside manners/"smiling training" as he seems more austere and not as friendly as his fellow servers. Regardless, my fiancé and I enjoyed our stay and 99% of the Marco Polo hotel staff were amazing. The Vu bar is stellar. We plan to choose this hotel again in the near future. 4.5 stars rounded to 5.
