コーヒー・テイーサービス、電気ポットありシャワーのみ、ＮＨＫは入らない日本のビジネスホテルよりも一廻り広いくらい、広々感はないシテイホテルの類朝食のbuffetはまずOK

スタッフの笑顔が救い。

部屋は広く、掃除はよくされているが、1、２泊目の部屋は排水の関係か臭いがした。3、４泊目は部屋を変えて貰った。窓からは隣りのアパートが間近で眺望は悪い。スタッフは皆感じが良く、気を遣ってくれた。観光スポットからは遠い。朝食ビュッフェは良かった。

環境のマイナス面をスタッフの努力がカバー

スタッフの方たちの感じは大変よく、声も良く掛けてくれた。掃除も行き届いていた。朝食ビュッフェも美味しかった。ただ洗面所からの臭いが部屋にも漂うので、３泊目に部屋を変えてもらった。観光場所が遠い。周囲に手頃なレストランが少ない。部屋からの眺望は全く無かった。

マンダレー出張時の常宿にしていますが、スタッフもフレンドリーでいつも快適です。今回は、朝食に天ぷら(かき揚げ)が出たのは驚きました。期待せずに食べたら、以外にも美味しくてびっくりしました。

ゆっくり滞在するには、良いホテルです

フロントおよびレストランスタッフのサービスは、行き届いており良い。幹線道路から少し奥まったロケーションで、静かな環境で滞在できた。街の中心部からは外れているが、交通手段さえ確保すれば快適で、コストパーフォーマンスは高い。

街中なのに静かだけれど暗い感じ。

ホテルの前は道路でやかましく落ち着かないけれど、道路からホテルまでのアプローチが長いのでそんな喧噪が遮断され別世界の様に静か。欠点として隣接する建物に遮られ部屋からの景色が悪く又プールには日陰が多くて暗い感じ。

街の中なのに混沌から解放された静寂の空間

ホテルに着いた時にはそれほど感じなかったが、外へ出て街中を歩き、喧噪に疲れて帰ってきて初めて、このホテルの希少性を堪能しました。どうかこのままの空間を維持して下さいと願うばかりです。

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt

Mitten im Zentrum, trotzdem sehr ruhig gelegen. Das gesamte Personal ist außerordentlich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Gut ausgestattetes Zimmer, erfrischender Pool im Garten.Ein leckeres Frühstücksbuffet war inklusiv.

Hôtel agréable au calme

Hôtel au calme dans un écrin de verdure. Pas loin du centre et pourtant pas de restaurant autour .jolie chambre ( de luxe) Literie un peu dure à mon goût , pas rideaux occultants . Salle de restaurant sombre . Tout le reste très bien : piscine très agréable et accueil adorable

Hotel je v dobrém místě. Jídlo bylo výborné. Jediná negativní zkušenost byla, když při odjezdu a placení pobytu se nás v recepci opakovaně, 3 x ptali, zda nemáme hotelové župany. Jinak řečeno, zda je snad neodvážíme ve svých kufrech. Na pokoji, totiž žádné nebyly. I když jsme v hotelu byli 3 noci, tak bych předpokládala, že hotelový servis při úklidu zjistí, že žádné župany na pokoji nejsou. Tak to jediné bylo opravdu velmi nepříjemné.

Hotel muy tranquilo.

Buen hotel, muy tranquilo y sin ruido a pesar de estar en medio de la ciudad, buena piscina rodeada de palmeras, te llevan los cócteles a la piscina. El restaurante está bien y con bastante variedad. Personal amable y atento.

It's already been said that this hotel is an absolute oasis and that is exactly what it is, which is exactly what you will need in Mandalay. Staff and hotel are perfect.

Bon choix

Petit jardin au cœur de la ville. Très calme, chambre spacieuse mais un peu sombre. Bon petit déjeuner. Beaucoup de choix de petits restaurants à proximité. Un bon compromis pour Mandalay.

City Oasis.

On the main street my heart sank when the taxi slowed and I saw the sign next to a derilict building, but he drove through an arch and down a bit of a lane opening into a tropical oasis! In the middle of the city it was definately unexpected. The hotel is of an age but the rooms especially are renovated to a very high standard. The restaurant serves very tasty and high quality food and the staff as always in Asia are excellent. I was very pleased we did not have to go hunting for restaurants outside as there did not appear to be many. We only stayed one night but it was a positive and enjoyable experience and if I were to return to Mandalay I would stay again.

Hotel op zeer goede lokatie voor bezoek Mandalay

Het hotel is prima gelegen vlak bij grote markt en Mandalay Castle en Mandalay Hill. Het is een prima vertreklokatie voor het bezoek van Ava en andere plaatsen in de omgeving. Het is zeer rustig gelegen in een parkachtige lokatie midden in Mandalay. Zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Prima ontbijt en restaurantfaciliteit. Tenslotte is na een dag excursie goed uitrusten aan de rand van het zwembad. Het water is zeer verfrissend.

Fail in hospitality

Hospitality, zero. Staff are not proficient in english. No matter how clean or how centralise the hotel can be, poor hospitality bring the whole image of the hotel down. i was unfortunate to be sick during my trip in Mandalay. The staff can hardly understand me. Can you imagine you are very sick and trying get people understand you. As i was so sick that I have no appetite, i wanted to order porridge which I know is not on the menu. I asked if this can be done, and was told that it can be. By dinner I called for room service and I was told that it cannot be done. And what was agreed earlier was a suggestion of steam rice and soup. And the person over the phone laughed and said 'we don't do italian rice'. Anyway i totally have no energy and i gave in to soup and steam rice in order to stay alive overseas. Honestly with the soup, the rice was still hard to swallow.

Great Pool Area

It's hard to decide what you should consider a nice hotel when staying in a place like Mandalay in a country like Myanmar. The room was small, but nice. It was clean, the bathroom was modern and the bed was comfortable. The curtains needed to stay closed on the windows in my room, due to the building next door. The kettle was old, but there was one. I'd recommend it. I lowered the service rating only because they didn't speak enough English to make every request easy.

Has seen better days

The staff are very nice and try their best, but the hotel is old, the rooms and bathroom were quite smelly. We booked a car through the hotel and the car was really old and dirty. We specifically asked for seat belts and there was only one. I wouldn't recommend this hotel, however no shadow falls on the staff, they are friendly, but the hotel is old and quite run down.

Wonderful location and service. That's all

Great quiet hotel on very busy street. Service without compromise. Weird elevator, always 1/2 a flight of stairs from where you want to go, either up or down. Hot water seldom found. If you need to use more than one electrical device, you have to unplug something. Room is small.

Oasis in downtown Mandalay

Comfortable room, friendly & helpful staff, great pool. Hotel feels far removed from it's immediate surroundings. Minuses are slow internet (which may not be the fault of the hotel), and no hot water.

Vale realmente a hospedagem.

Bom hotel. Antigo porem todo reformado. Realmente parece um oasis perdido em Mandalay. E o restaurante serve uma pasta a carbonara que mereceria 3 estrelas no guia michelin. Nem em hotéis na Itália provei um tão bom. Recomendo muito.

Mandalay City Hotel Excellence

Presentation was excellent, room was large and comfortable with all facilities and pleasant garden view through large windows. Staff service was friendly and extremely helpful.

Ruhige Oase im Zentrum

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral, aber trotzdem sehr ruhig, da es sich in einem Innenhof befindet. Der Pool bietet willkommene Abkühlung und Erholung nach Erkundungen im lauten und staubigen Mandalay. Das Hotelpersonal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit und organisiert auch Bootsfahrten etc. Unser Zimmer war gross und gut ausgestattet (viel Stauraum). Sehr schön ist das Badezimmer!
