Staff always makes a difference at a hotel, and all staff are cheerful, ready to assist, and professional. I am in Bahrain on business and had to extend; the Front Desk was extremely helpful. I will stay here again.

The place is so nice, staff are friendly, food provide many alternatives. The room is not sea view as selected, when i asked the reception for the sea view room reserved, they clarified that there is no rooms has sea view, only suits are sea view and that they are not responsible for what presented on Expedia

Overall excellent stay with especially great staff from managers asking several times about my stay all the way down to house cleaning and wait staff. Only downside was very loud night club on first floor that kept me awake. I was on fourth floor but would request a higher floor next time if staying over weekend.

Quick visit nice view & service

Overall was good. Got an upgrade which was nice suite with nice view. Bed is comfortable, pillows can be improved with more variety. I was expecting location to be near the mall but its not walking distance. Yet there are nice restaurants / cafes near by walking by nice pier. Checkin/checkout was fast Service was good

It took me sometime to realize my coordinates. It is only on my last day that I found out while walking more than a hour that the Hotel is close to the center of the city. I will stay again in this hotel and they change its name to a shorter name. Finally I have to let know that their breakfast is fantastic.

Weekend Staycation

An impromptu weekend getaway from the UAE, Bahrain is a tropical island in the gulf region. Having many options of Hotels in the area, we decided on the Grand Swiss - Belhotel at the waterfront. From the entry way into the hotel until the reception of the room, we were greeted with exceptional service. Situated on the beachfront, you will have exceptional sea views and of the surroundings. Excellent pool and drinks facilities are provided for those who enjoy a dip in the water. Breakfast buffet had an amazing variety of foods that could tantalise every taste bud. Highly exceptional service provided by the staff, especially Genelyn , Aqeel, Bea and Usuri. I highly recommend Grand Swiss and will definitely be returning soon.

This is my second stay at this hotel and the staff are outstanding. From Aksha and Ibrahim at the front desk, to Zaw in the breakfast dining room, to Jingle, Akeem and Jassim in the Maestro Lounge on the 17th floor. My wife and I recommend this hotel highly.

great position for ironman bahrain

chose the hotel as conveniently positioned for the ironman bahrain event, so the location was ideal for our purpose. overall nice hotel, new facilities. only issue in my opinion is the restaurant, food quality is not great and personnel quite incompetent. i would go back for next years' race.

First, the hotel was not located at all where the Hotels.com map said it was. Not sure it is a hotel problem or a Hotel.com problem. Second, they seem to have a shortage of hot water at night and in the mornings. The hotel is away from anything nearby so you need a car to go someplace. They don’t bother to keep any taxis at the hotel.

I was disappointed with this hotel from the very beginning. On arrival, there was no valet or doorman to assist us with our luggage. Then when I got to my bedroom, the bathroom was dirty, the floor had stains and cigarette burn marks on it and the wallpaper was chipping by the window; I asked them to clean the bathroom which they did immediately, so I’m glad they were happy to assist so quickly. After the first day, I noticed that my bathroom would fill with water throughout the day, I raised this issue with the lady in reception as she said she will have somebody look at it – nobody looked at it. The next day I noticed the water again in the morning , I mentioned it to the gentleman at reception and he said he have a plumber come out and look at it – nobody looked at it. When I arrived back at the hotel that evening, I complained a third time regarding the wet bathroom, in which a plumber came out straight away and told me there was a leak in the pipes, and it will continue to leak until they can fix it properly. The hotel moved me into another upgraded room, however, this was right above the hotel’s nightclub and the music went on until 02:30am, I had a horrible time!!! I do not recommend
