This property Bahay Bakasyunan sa Camiguin is closed when we came to check-in. It has been ceased operation 7days before our supposedly check-in day on 27 Feb. 2020. No notification whatsoever. Put my wife & I in danger of no place to stay at very last minute in an island. But we are happy on Expedia’s immediate respond & actions on our complaint. Thank you Expedia.

Room 103 - Problems with power switch & mosquitoes

We stayed in room 103. We had problems sleeping due to mosquitos in the room. We sprayed pesticides ourselves but the mosquitos were back the following day. Moreover, there was a problem with the power switch in the room that required a maintenance man to come over to fix after every power outage.

虫が苦手な方、子連れにはあまりおすすめできません

敷地内は手入れされており、きれいでした。部屋は天井から何かゴミのようなものが落ちてくるのか いつもベッドや床にゴミがついていました。部屋の中には蚊、アリ、トカゲ、ゴキブリなどいろいろな虫が出ます。自然の中なので仕方ないですが、虫が苦手な方にはあまりおすすめできません。朝食はフィリピン式朝食が美味しかったです。夜、ディスコの騒音がひどく朝の2時まで眠れない日がありました。部屋を移動してくれましたが、それでもうるさくて眠れなかったです。子連れには、あまりおすすめできません。洗濯物を干すところが汚れていて、干すと衣類が黒くなりますので気をつけてください。wifiは弱いです。海もありますが、行く途中の坂はとても滑るのでみんな転んでいました。行くときは気をつけてください。

Great place and nice island

We had a really good stay at Bahay Bakaysunan. Plus: Reception, public areas and rooms (we were in cluster a) are nice. They have a coffee bar that could make coffee as we liked it, not many places we found elsewhere in philippines could. Minus: no beach, gym and swimming pool are worn. Early noises from dogs, roosters. The plus side is bigger than the minus so well worth a stay.

War ok aber auch nicht mehr. Sauberkeit war leider nicht vorhanden im unserem Bad hatte es überall Fremde Haare am Boden und das Personal in der Lobby solala.... irgendwie überhaupt nicht hilfreich, wobei das Check-In extrem schnell abgewickelt wurde.

The place is a paradise! The ambiance is very good and cozy! The room is everything I wished it would be, spacious, gorgeous, neat and comfortable. I loved that the bathroom has a bidet and the hot shower works. I really enjoyed the amenities, especially the game room and the swimming pool. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. It was a very nice stay.

We stayed in the "old" part of the hotel and the room must be refresh specialy the bathroom. The ac was very noisy. A bungalow just near us was on renovation and they started working really early in the morning.
