Location and price were the two positives. The breakfast was also very good. This is definitely a hotel for families traveling on a budget - the experience is BARE BONES. The room was uncomfortably hot, without A/C or a fan. The lack of a mini-fridge was inconvenient (we noticed many, many families with coolers - they must have stayed here before!). Don't get a room facing the central courtyard unless you like to hear seagulls screaming all night long. The hotel is badly understaffed right now, with a 15-30 min wait in queue to even speak to a front desk worker. Although all hotels have done away with daily cleaning these days, other than on request, it took multiple requests over a few days to get a cleaning, and the hotel seems generally dirty and a bit run down (stained furniture and carpet, mostly). Finally, the low price attracted lots of young people to the hotel, so we had to deal with shouting, running, door-slamming etc. after 10pm.
