「Staying at Ballyvolane was like being in an Irish historical novel. It was amazing in every aspect: food, bed comfort, and especially the staff. They made us feel so welcome. We would recommend Ballyvolane to anyone who wants a peaceful stay in a beautiful manor house!」

「We enjoyed the comfortable bed and pillows and not having to step into a bath to have a shower. The enclosed shower was great. Space was tight around the bed and I did bang my leg on the sharp corner of the bed passing from the window side to the bathroom at night. Breakfast was simple but adequate. We enjoyed the entertainers in the lounge. Overall cmfortable and very handy for going to the town centre.」

「We had a wonderful experience in Cork. The hotel had everything that we needed. Since this was our third destination on the trip, we badly needed to do some laundry and the hotel has some excellent provision for that. The room was well equipped with a fridge and kitchenette. The location is excellent. The Moxy's bar next door has some awesome drinks and live music. The hotel is close to everything (pretty much). The breakfast is great. The staff is wonderful. Strongly recommend. 」

「A delightful step back in time while having all the modern conveniences. Cottage was renovated beautifully with every attention to detail and in keeping with its old world charm. Sonia, the owner was very friendly and accommodating. My only regret is that we didn't have more time to really enjoy the cottage in the evenings around the fire.
