「Wonderful place! Everything you need! Love the eclectic decor. Hostesses were easy to communicate with. Very close to Giant City State Park for hiking etc. also antiquing in nearby towns.」

「Nice place. We cooked meals inside on the stove but also over a fire at the fire pit. There is a small creek behind the cabin that runs when it rains out. That was pretty cool. No nearby light pollution so the sky is really dark at night and you can see a lot of stars. Overall a great experience. Two wineries close by. It's on the wine trail. Close to everything in Southern Illinois. We went to all the state parks.」

「If you’re looking for peace and quiet you found it. I sat out on the porch and just looked at the pond. Turned off the cell relaxed and enjoyed the view. The host was very accommodating. The home look just like the pictures and when I arrived the air conditioning was going which was great when your from California and not used to the hot sticky summers in Southern Illinois.」

「Host was nice....house and beach needed some tlc. House was for the most part clean. I would come back. Love how secluded and private the house was. Definitely a place for a group.」

「The Cottage is easily one of the best places I've ever rented! All of the personal touches and extras provided (firewood, eggs from the chicken coop, fishing poles for the pond, and the telescope) make this location a must-stay. My kids absolutely LOVED hanging out with the chickens! I made plenty of cherished memories by teaching my children how to fish, start a fire, and use the telescope to stargaze. Next time we will 100% be renting the golf cart to explore more of the orchard and take...

「Me and my friends stayed here before i leave in a couple of days. I absolutely loved the house and it was so clean and Allison was very good and prompt with her response when I needed help. I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting a relaxing get away with kids. Has everything you need.」
