「The place is lovely, the breakfast delicious, the bed was comfortable, the spa was great, and all was very clean. We enjoyed time on our own front porch. The property was beautiful . My one complaint was that the soaps and shampoo were very heavily spearmint scented which was a lot of spearmint after a bit. 」

「Lobby bar and saloon had friendly good service. Rooms are really dark which is good for sleeping but needs more light during day. Bathroom needs better lighting. Loved our stay will definitely stay again. Loved being downtown. 」
「Staff was very friendly. Property is well maintained. Room with king bed was roomy. The breakfast had very good variety. The lady overseeing the breakfast was attentive and really took pride in her job.
The only negative is we could hear the upstairs guest moving around at times. 」
「I had a room with a balcony which I highly recommend. It was super quiet with the exception of the loudest of loud trucks going by. The front desk staff was very friendly and efficient. I didn't wake up early enough for breakfast, but I'm sure it's like every other Hampton. The area where the hotel is situated is far enough away to avoid a lot of people but close enough to mingle with people if you so choose. This will be my go to spot whenever I'm in town. 」
「This was our second stay in the La Hermosa suite and it was perfect! My husband and I love this property, the room is beautiful and so thoughtfully appointed. The complimentary snacks and drinks are very nice. The pool area is wonderful. During the first stay they brought breakfast in the morning, but they do not offer it anymore. Not sure if this is a seasonal or permanent change, but we did miss it. Nonetheless The Menagerie is just fantastic!」
「Absolutely loved our stay at the bluebonnet cottage! Was a perfect oasis for a quiet romantic get away. Only suggestion would to light the trail to the bluebonnet as well as signage for that location like the rest. And steps for the hot tub at the bluebonnet cottage it was really hard to get in and out of. Plan to make it a yearly trip! 」
