Our room was on the second floor - not only was there no elevator, but the stairs were literally from another century - stone, worn uneven with time. Absolutely no help with our bags. "From the moment we booked, this hotel was fab. The manager resoonded straight away when our plane was delayed, and reassured us our room would be held for us and someone would be available to let us in however late it was. The room was spacious, light and clean. They cleaned our room every day, and left clean towels when needed. Plenty of space to park, for free. "Wonderful, helpful owners/staff. Breakfast was delicious! The area has cafes, restaurants and bars all within easy walking distance. There is also a supermarket within a few minutes walk. If you want to explore further afield, you will need a car or expect to pay for taxis, as the area isn't served well with public transport (In May at least)."
