Such a wonderful surprise! This family-run hotel is a real hidden gem.Set in a beautifully renovated old tannery, it has been brought back to life with so much love and attention to detail. The historic character has been preserved while creating such a warm and beautiful place to stay. We felt incredibly welcome and more than comfortable from the moment we arrived. The service was warm, personal and genuinely attentive, and the breakfast was absolutely lovely — fresh, delicious and a great start to the day! You can really feel the care and passion that goes into this place. We had such a lovely stay!

The hotel is in a very nice and quite town. The rooms are lovely and the hotel is in a historical amazing place. The only improvement point for winter is that the place where the breakfast is served has not a very good heating system and it was cold

Beautiful rooms with vaulted ceiling and stone walls and floors typical of old buildings in Puglia. Very well maintained and extremely courteous staff ready to help with any questions. Very tasteful croissants and pasticciottos, an amazing local pastry, served with breakfast.

Kind & helpful staff

The staff could not have been better or more kind. The only suggestion I have is the bathroom could have been about 1’ deeper for movement. The glass ceiling was a great idea and they should have made the wall between the bath & bedroom glass as well with an opaque section for privacy.

Starting with arrival - this hotel was “difficult”. Difficult to locate using Google Maps, parking was off-site (about a block away and unsecured). Our room was on the second floor - not only was there no elevator, but the stairs were literally from another century - stone, worn uneven with time. Absolutely no help with our bags. Did I mention it was complicated with pouring rain? Yeah, the “lobby” of this hotel is open-air, so the floors were puddles of water, steps were wet - well- they were outside! It was a relief to get inside of the room. The room itself was fine, comfortable enough, nice bathroom, but for me the inconveniences of this place outweighed the positives. There was a continental breakfast included which was nice, nothing special. You need to ask for your cappuccino to be “caldo” or it will come room temperature. The staff was pleasant enough - absolutely no complaints. We actually ended up checking out a day early! I definitely will be looking for another option next time we’re in the Maglie area. No value here based on the price.

Camera pulitissima in una eccezionale dimora storica, il posto è comodissimo per girare sia il centro storico che tutto il Salento (30 Min di macchina praticamente da tutto) posto vicinissimo anche a Melpignano per la notte della Taranta. È consigliatissimo dedicare 15 Min per girare anche il sotterraneo della dimora storica veramente ben tenuta e vivere anche il solarium con una piccola piscina, il proprietario del posto è gentilissimo e spiega minuziosamente i dettagli della dimora, un grazie particolare va alla signora Paola per la sua gentilezza e disponibilità durante le meravigliose colazioni. È molto facile trovare parcheggio vicino all' hotel nelle viuzze laterali o nella piazza vicina altrimenti è presente un parcheggio a pagamento davanti alla struttura, soggiorno da 5 stelle.

Dans une ville qui ne ressemble à aucune autre dans les Pouilles, l'établissement est remarquable par son architecture qui mêle l'authenticité et le moderne. Que vous arriviez de jour comme de nuit, il se dégage une impression de volupté et de noblesse. D'autres diront romantique, d'autres plutôt design...le Corte dei Francesi est un peu de tout çà pour le bonheur des clients. Le service (en français...) est impeccable, bienveillant, et très attentionné. Les chambres sont décorées avec une sobriété et une authenticité qui donne une impression de luxe et de plénitude, qui vous fait ressentir un calme ressourçant. Le petit déjeuner est à l'image de l'ambiance qui règne dans l'hôtel, atypique, varié et avec le souci du choix des produits naturels de la région. En bref c'est une oasis de volupté dans une ville où l'élégance des bâtiments, des boutiques et des habitants sont un ravissement pour les yeux. C'est la plus belle surprise de notre séjour..
