"Not what i was expecting for $273 USD. The furniture and accessories were cheap or old (apart from a brand new refrigerator). There was construction right next to our room and our view consisted of a few trees, a tired, old, swimming pool some distant mountains and a giant construction site. The room is not regularly used as evidenced by the dusty cabinets, few amenities and a broken jacuzzi tub. The hotel is understaffed and distant. "I would highly recommend Pillows Boutique Hotel if you don't need to be in the heart of Chiang Mai, and want a luxury hotel for a budget price. The rooms were very nice, very clean, in a quiet area and only 10 minutes or so from central Chiang Mai by car. The only negative was having to go outside the hotel to smoke as there was no balcony, but that is a very minor inconvenience. "We had excellent service and staff. The rooms were really nice and clean. The bar in the restaurant were really good. Excellent selection of food. Everything was really clean and up-to-date The only thing I had a problem is was the shower had hot water, but it wasn’t really hot like I like it, but I am from America so I am used to certain things. In the bed was pretty firm and I like a super comfortable bed as far as a pillow top. Other than that, the resort was very beautiful and I slept better than I thought on a firm bed everything else in the facility and resort made up for it and it kind of sits out in the country away from everybody so it is nice and quiet at night. "
