With new rules, restrictions and safety measures in effect, travel looks a lot different these days. Here are some useful things to know before you jet off to Maconnais:

• Find out if any travel restrictions apply to your destination and origin before booking. Also check if there are any requirements you'll need to follow on arrival, such as testing and quarantining.
• Wear a face mask even during airport screening. A TSA officer will ask you to adjust your mask for ID purposes.

• If you're bringing food through security screening, place it in a clear plastic bag and then into a screening bin. This reduces the likelihood that a TSA agent will need to touch your carry-on bag or food container for inspection.
