「It was a bit old fashioned 」

「It was a really cute bed and breakfast. The shower wasn't the best I almost flooded the bathroom. But it was cute and the staff and environment were great. 」

「Nice flat with lovely views of the quay. Very clean and well equipped. Nice detail having water in the fridge on our arrival. Great base to explore Stranraer and surrounding area.」

「Very accommodating and made to feel very welcome - the room had everything you would need for a 1 night stay - decor very dated in need of a bit of paint - had a great shower - en-suite dated but spacious - bedding was clean and crisp - bed was hard so not for us but could suit someone else. Cheap and cheerful - breakfast was great - very friendly all round 」

「Staff were helpful and very polite and friendly. The hotel is basic with a straightforward menu but perfect for a stop over on the way to the ferry. Good breakfast, served promptly at our pre-ordered time. Found Newton Stewart a little down at heel, but we didn’t walk very far past the supermarket. 」
