"Lovely location, quiet & secluded but only a short walk to the beach & restaurants. Breakfast was excellent. The room was spacious but some attention to detail needed. The bathroom sink had clearly been damaged and the repair was unsightly. The curtains did not meet in the middle and let in light. ..."

"Property in maintenance front of property covered in scaffolding. Hotel very unhelpful when trying to reserve a car parking space, just didn’t want to know. There is parking on dirty dusty gravel site at the rear of the hotel price at £8 per day. Food overpriced and service extremely slow."

"The cottage is lovely. Spacious and very comfortable. Lythe is a gorgeous village. Excellent shop and really good pub. We had Sunday lunch there. Very close to Sandsend which is a fantastic beach."
