Enjoy the famously Mediterranean charms of Lugano from this tranquil and conveniently located holiday home! Nestled within walking distance of the captivating shores and lakeside parks of Lugano, this 2-bedroom apartment for 4 provides a comfy and effortless base to enjoy a fulfilling and fun city break. The holiday apartment is on the fourth floor and has lift access, making it a welcoming retreat for even elderly guests and those with young children.

A balcony with a wide view provides the perfect respite after a day of exploring, where you can also enjoy meals in the balmy Lugano atmosphere during summer. Inside, the apartment has a spacious living room with sofas, a massive Smart TV, modern dining set up and a fully-equipped kitchen. In the kitchen, you will find everything needed for carefree meal preparation; from dishwasher to microwave, induction hob and oven.

The apartment is located in a very well-serviced area, within walking distance of the centre and in a desirably peaceful setting, ideal for relaxation. The closest bus stop (Lugano, Vignola) is at a 4-minute walk and there are also plenty of restaurants and supermarkets a stone’s throw from the holiday apartment to cater to your every craving and need. Lugano’s historic centre, the lakeside Parco Ciani, Piazza Riforma with tons of terraces, and a wide range of discos, all are within convenient walking distance from the rental (15-20 minutes walk). However, for those who want to unwind away from the crowds, then Lido San Domenico and the Olive Grove trail ending in the picturesque village of Gandria are a 10-minute drive from here!

Guests can also hike through the magnificent San Salvatore as the funicular is a 15-minute drive. Meanwhile, families with children can head to Melide and admire the stunning causeway as well as the SwissMiniatur with the miniature, open-air exhibits of the best attractions of Switzerland! The nearest international airport is Milan Malpensa, approximately a 60-minute drive from this holiday apartment in Lugano.

Property is an excellent choice for a weekend (3 days max.) Neighbors (up stairs) are very, very noisy. Surroundings are noisy but ok, it is the middle of the city. Grocery store is 2 min. Away. City historic town is 20 min. Walk. Lake 30 min. Walk. But there is plenty of local transportation (bus - bikes)
