Rustikal und ehrlich, in absoluter Ruhe

Die Mühle ist liebevoll hergerichtet, es hat an nichts gefehlt. Die Betten wurden extra liebevoll vergrößert, die Matratzen sehr gut. Geheizt wird mit Holz, mit einem Steinofen kann man perfekte Ofengerichte/Pizzen machen. Draußen kann gegrillt und die Feuerschale genutzt werden.An der Mühle geht ein erfrischender Bach (wir haben ihn zudem zum Getränke-Kühlen genutzt). Man kann vor Ort parken und kommt auch gut hin. Ich empfehle Selbstverpflegung. Unsere wenigen Einkehren waren nur durch vorherige, persönliche Absprachen notwendig. Es gibt viel zu Wandern, allerdings auch hier wenig Einkehrmöglichkeiten. Die Wanderwege sind zum Teil sehr schlecht zugänglich, die ein und andere Kletterpartie von Nöten gewesen. Für uns toll - für manche unmöglich zu machen. Alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen für Ruhesuchende und Purismus-Freunde

Trip in die Vergangenheit mit Komfort von heute

Mit 15 Freund:innen in die Provinz – das machen wir seit fast 20 Jahren. Und jedes Mal wieder ist es eine Herausforderung, eine passende Unterkunft zu finden. Passende Größe, passende Lage, passende Umgebung – wir kommen aus Mainz, Berlin und München. Diesmal war es eine Sternfahrt und ein absoluter Volltreffer – eine umgebaute Mühle, die unter Denkmalschutz steht. Mit Sorgfalt und Liebe zum Detail renoviert hat sie wirklich alles, was wir brauchen: Genug Zimmer und bequeme Betten, eine lange Essenstafel für alle mit einer echt gut ausgestatteten Küche, ausreichend Toiletten und Bäder, Grill, Holzofen und viel Platz mit Grün drumherum. On top noch eine lange Geschichte und eine geschichtsträchtige Lage: direkt an der ehemals innerdeutschen Ex-Grenze zieht sich das Grüne Band entlang, ein super Wanderweg hin zum Bauhaus-Hotel in Probstzella. Dort kann man sich einen Schlüssel holen für die Besichtigung des Grenzwärter-Turms mit Ausstellung zur Geschichte der Mauer an der Stelle. Und nach dem Wandern kann man sich noch schnell fangfrische Fische vom Forellenhof holen. Herrlich!

Sehr schönes Haus in einer tollen Umgebung

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in dem Haus. Zerstört wurde diese Erfahrung jedoch durch die absolut unverschämte Sprachnachricht der Frau, die uns auch den Schlüssel übergeben hat. Sie beschwert sich darin, dass wir den Tisch nicht abgewischt haben, was eigentlich laut Beschreibung vom Reinigungspersonal durchgeführt werden sollte. Des Weitern stellt sie die Familie, die mit einem Kleinkind vor Ort war als unfähig da. Sollte die Orga vor Ort weiter über diese Frau laufen, können wir das Objekt nicht weiter empfehlen.

Kurzurlaub mit Freunden

Schöne, abgelegene und sehr ruhige Lage mitten in der Natur. Großzügige Schlafzimmer, Bäder ausreichend, großer Aufenthaltsraum. Der Kühlschrank war uns zu klein (8 Personen). Gemütlich draußen zusammen sitzen ist leider nicht möglich, dafür fehlen entsprechende Sitzgelegenheiten. Alles in allem hatten wir einen tollen Aufenthalt!

Fantastische Restaurierung und Einrichtung

Unser Aufenthalt über Silvester war wunderbar. Es ist beeindruckend zu merken, wie Architektur und schöne Einrichtung zur allgemeinen Zufriedenheit beitragen können. Der große Aufenthaltsraum, das schöne Gelände und die Umgebung bieten ausreichend Raum für alle das zu tun, wonach ihnen gerade der Sinn ist.

Wochenende mit Freunden

Sehr schöne Unterkunft weit ab vom Schuss, sodass man absolut ungestört die Zeit verbringen kann. Die Unterkunft ansich bietet alles nötige in einem sehr liebevoll restaurierten, alten Mühlenbau. Wir waren wirklich sehr begeistert und überlegen wieder hin zu fahren.

Sehr urige Lokation

Wir waren mit 9 Erwachsenen Personen für 3 Übernachtungen in der Mühle. Toller Platz, liebevoll hergerichtet, ohne die Ursprünglichkeit des Ortes zu vergessen. Man spürt, dass er Geschichte hat. Sehr netter Empfang und Kommunikation. Gerne wieder!

Liebevoll restaurierte historische Mühle in idyllischer Natur

Es war ein wunderschönes Erlebnis in der historischen Steinbachsmühle zu übernachten, Pizza im Holzofen zu backen und die idyllische Natur zu genießen. Sehr interessant waren auch die Hintergrundinfos zur Geschichte der Mühle, die der Gastgeber uns im Vorhinein zugeschickt hat.

Was für ein Erlebnis!

Wir wollten einen Ort für das Familientreffen zu Mutter's 70. Von Oma bis 4jähriger hatten alle eine tolle Zeit auf diesem liebevoll hergerichten historischem Ort! Allein die abenteuerliche Anfahrt war die Reise wert, himmlische Ruhe weit und breit. Das Haus war blitzeblank und sehr authentisch. Ein tolles Objekt. Wir kommen wieder. Warm war es auch, keiner hat gefroren. Danke Otger, Sascha und Frau Kaminiski!

Die Mühle bietet durch die vielen Zimmer und den großen Gemeinschaftsraum die Möglichkeit, ein tolles Familienfest mit 13 Personen durchzuführen. Sehr individuell und ansprechend und entschädigt für die lange Anreise.

Echt schöne abgelegene Lage. Perfekt für ein lustiges und geseliges Wochenende inkl. Wanderung durch die Natur. Echt schöner hergerichteter Gemeinschaftstraum und urig Schlafzimmer. Kann mir echt gut vorstellen das nächste größere Treffen mit Freunden auch wieder dort zu machen
