Beautiful home. Very clean. Comfortable beds. Family from for to 80 enjoyed. Lovely kitchen and all the things we needed. Definitely would recommend.

Great secluded spot

Great property and host. Tucked into the mountains, nice view from deck. Responsive and accommodating host. We stayed in June, but even dry the driveway is challenging. David is very clear about the need for 4wd in winter and that is no exaggeration.

Great Cabin Property

The cabin was beautiful and had lots of space for our guests. Plenty of room for parking and all our vehicles were able to ascend the steep hills up to the home. Kitchen says it is fully stocked, but was missing mixing bowls and could’ve used a few more cooking utensils. Decent selection of spices. Within a short distance to the downtown area where there are cute restaurants and a couple coffee shops, and Okemo is a stones throw away. A few of the places downtown are seasonal so just double check they are open! We end noted our stay very much and would recommend.

Fabulous Family Get Together

Mountain View Manor was every bit as enjoyable as described. Communication with the host was top notch. We can’t wait to have a return visit!

Great for Families

Had a nice summer kickoff weekend with a few friends and their families. House had all the necessities and was a great layout for group meals and fire pit action.

Million Dollar View

Dave the host, was very accommodating and accessible. House was supplied with above average variety of items as compared to other rentals. Very short drive to Okemo. Great for family and friends and accommodates large groups.

Great Venue

Amazing stay

Had a great time getting away to this amazing spot with a great view of the mountains ! Everything was extremely clean and organized . The little welcome in gift was definitely loved by everyone when we made pancakes!!!!

We had a large group of friends travel from all around for a weekend of hanging out by the fire and having some great laughs. Perfect location for it!

Family Ski Trip

Our family had a wonderful time staying here for a family ski trip! Dave was super responsive and helpful with anything that popped up during our stay. The house is perfectly located to Jackson Gore - just a 10 minute drive. We were also close to a bunch of restaurants. The kids had a great time in the bunk room!

Family 3 day ski weekend getaway

Great property. Plenty of room for our family 6 adults and 5 children Popcorn machine and hot tub was a hit with adults and kids House had everything you need for weekend. No need to leave if you weren’t skiing Large kitchen with everything you need to prep meals Host was very attentive. Quick to answer the one question we did have Would recommend to family and friends

Perfect for large group

Dave was always so quick to respond to any of my questions and did so kindly. Ft He house is big and perfect for a multi family getaway. Minutes away from okemo mt. Ski area. Loved it !

Awesome Vermont Getaway

This is a fantastic house, tucked up in the mountains of Vermont. It's the perfect rural escape if you're looking to unwind, with the convenience of being near a ski resort with all the shops, bars, restaurants, etc that Ludlow has to offer. The house itself is impressive and comfortable, with plenty to do on-property (hiking, fire pit, great deck with a view, hot tub, yard for games, etc). We actually barely left during our stay. The driveway is a bit of a challenge, but we didn't experience any problems in the summer. The house owner/manager is really helpful, available, and kind. He was able to answer any and all questions about the house - both before our stay and during - and also provided some good local recommendations. Check-in was easy, and everything was very clean. Would 100% stay here again.

Excellent Stay!

Came for a birthday getaway and it was an amazing time! The view was amazing from the house. The house was clean and felt very welcoming! I would 100% recommend!!

Beautiful House

The home was a great spot for a multiple family group of skiers. The home offered plenty of space and great proximity to Okemo mountain.

Didn't Meet Our Expectations

The property is very nice and overall the house is fine, but it did not live up to our expectations. The pictures make the house appear larger and more grand than it is. We were there for new years eve and the hot tub was not working. The manager had it fixed the next evening, but it was very disappointing not to have it for new years. The large tub in the master bath was also not working, nor was the fireplace downstairs. The fireplace upstairs stopped working our last night. We never reported the master bath not working and just used a bathtub in another room for our kids. The fire pit and smoker were great. Overall, I would recommend the house but for half the price we paid for it.

Quiet ski weekend

We had a great time at the house! It’s close to Okemo so easy to go back and forth. Views and hot tub made it a great trip for those not skiing. It also had a great set up for kids space downstairs and popcorn machine made for a fun movie night. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful, but Cursed Trip

First and foremost, the house itself is spacious and comfortable for our group of 13 people. The house maintained a nice warm temperature and the gas fireplaces were a huge plus. BUT.... Our 4x4 vehicles could NOT make it up the iced out driveway, so we had to lug our bags up the steep icy driveway in the dark. There were several leaks coming out of the kitchen ceiling through light sockets. Furthermore, one of the queen bedrooms on the top floor had a minor ladybug infestation? And to top it off, we ALL (12 people) got infected with rashes and swollen lymph nodes after using the hot tub. Maybe it was just our luck that weekend, but I don't think I'd book again.
