This large, sunny apartment is located in a beautifully maintained historic building that dates back 7 centuries. It’s right in the city center, so you’re close to everything Lucca has to offer. You can find even more information on LuccaTravels, where we offer great deals!
This lovely apartment has been recently remodeled in a beautiful, traditional Tuscan style, updated with modern touches. The apartment features two large living areas, an office space, a well-equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and 2 sleeper sofas. If you’re traveling with a large group, please note that we have other Lucca Travels units in the building that accommodate anywhere from 1 to 6 people.
Since you’re right in the heart of town, you’re just a 1-minute walk from 3 small grocery stores, and only a 2-minute stroll from 5 or 6 cafes, the main cathedral, 10 restaurants, and a number of shops. It doesn’t get any more central than this!
The kitchen is fully equipped with a full-sized refrigerator/freezer, stovetop, oven, coffee maker, microwave, and dining table, as well as brand-new cookware and serving utensils. There is a dishwasher, a washing machine, a smart TV, and if there’s something you need that isn’t listed here, just ask us and we’ll see what we can do.
The master bedroom features a new bed and a large closet with full-length mirrors. The master bathroom is beautifully decorated with marble tiles and features a bathtub and shower, sink, toilet, and bidet.
The second bedroom sleeps two people in twin beds and has its own bathroom with a shower. The beds can be combined with a mattress topper to create a queen-sized bed upon request.
The living area has two sleeper sofas; one is a queen-sized sleeper sofa, the other is smaller and better suited for one adult or two children, and there is an additional full bathroom, complete with a shower, located in the common area.
The bedrooms and living areas are equipped with air conditioning. The bedrooms feature new mattresses and new pillows and are furnished with brand-new 160-thread-count 100% cotton linens, your choice of down or synthetic-filled comforters, and your choice of synthetic or down pillows.
You’re just a 5- to 10-minute walk from the train station or the bus station, which will take you to Pisa, Viareggio, Florence, Cinque Terre, and all over Tuscany and the Garfagnana.
Lucca is also the perfect city from which to explore all of Tuscany. Lucca uniquely combines a blend of elements you won’t find anywhere else in Tuscany. It’s the perfect home base for exploring: just 30 minutes from the Leaning Tower and Pisa International Airport, 30 minutes from the beaches of Viareggio, 45 minutes from the mountains, an easy bus or train ride to Florence, and a lovely 90-minute drive to Siena, Volterra, and many other gorgeous Tuscan towns.
Lucca Travels is always happy to offer suggestions for your day trips and adventures, or simply to help you learn more about the city we call home. We also offer tips on guided wine testings and private tours and can assist with airport transfers, babysitting, and more, so don’t hesitate to ask how we can make your trip even better.
Guest access The apartment is completely private (not shared with any other units in the building). It has its own heating and air conditioning, as well as its own washing machine. It’s all yours!
Other things to note We’re located right in the historic center of town, and non-residents cannot drive directly to the apartment—not even to unload luggage (we’re also in the pedestrian zone). However, there are plenty of parking options nearby, and we’re always happy to help you get you and your luggage directly to the apartment! We’re also available to answer any questions you may have, help with restaurant reservations, and more. Just ask! More details can be found via LuccaTravels.
The palazzo’s prime location makes it ideal for exploring all that Lucca has to offer. Since it’s located right in the heart of the historic city, everything in Lucca is just a few minutes’ walk away. From here, you can explore the amazing boutique shops lining Via Santa Croce and nearby Via Fillungo, visit the city’s museums, theaters, and concert halls, dine at any of the dozens of excellent local restaurants, and, of course, take a leisurely stroll along the city’s astonishing (and enormous) city walls. Since Lucca is flat, it’s very bike-friendly, and bikes (and pedal cars) can be rented inexpensively for the day at any of the many local shops.
