Charming~Family Friendly~Walk to the Stadium~On the Park~Perfect for Game Days!

You'll love this charming home in historic Tech Terrace right on the beautiful Wagner Park! This pet friendly home is just a short walk to Texas Tech University and the stadium amongst many other things. You will be blocks from coffee shops, a bakery, retail, restaurants, a brewery/tap house and a grocery store. Blue Topaz is conveniently close to University Medical Center and Covenant Hospital. This is a perfect house for a Tech game day! Walk to the game and then come back and enjoy the cozy backyard. You and your guests can relax around a outside gas fire pit, watch a game on the big screen tv, play some ping pong or have a game of corn hole. Or simply cross the street to a beautiful park full of play sets, swings, tennis courts, volleyball and basketball courts, grills and picnic tables! A block away is another park where people relax and play with their dogs. The neighborhood has bike paths, walking paths and there are Lime Scooters on every corner. This property is great for families visiting their Tech or LCU student, family reunions, graduations, holiday gatherings or out of town sports tournaments. We have lots of guest whose loved ones are in one of the local hospitals. Hunters love this space with its 5 beds (3 Queens and 2 Twins) and a comfy pull out. You will be in the premier location in Lubbock!

Wonderful Wedding Weekend!

Our family of 5 greatly enjoyed our stay here for the wedding of our son. The home was in a great location for a great price, with plenty of room for all of us. An added bonus was the neighborhood park across the street … I was glad to be able to take my early morning walks in such a lovely area. Our host was most gracious and accommodating. We would stay here again!

Sandy was excellent at communicating from the moment we checked in to the time we checked out. We had a small hiccup with the lock during our stay, and she responded quickly and got it resolved right away. The house itself was large, spacious, and comfortably fit our entire group.

Great House

My cousins twins had a 16th Birthday party in Abernathy.Sandy was very accommodating the day after the party. I asked if it would be OK for some of my family of my family could come to the house so we could kind of relax! Said that would be OK. We enjoyed the concert at Wagner Park and had a great time!Great place to stay!!

Palm Sunday Celebration

We had about 35 people to the home on Sunday. We had plenty of room for everyone to mingle about inside and out! The backyard area and the area with the ping pong table were wonderful for the children. Everyone had a great time! 35/35 recommend!

Amazing Home & Host

We loved our stay at Blue Topaz! Sandy was very communicative prior to our arrival & during our stay. The home had several extras like chips, a few waters, coffee filters and even poop bags for our dog. These were nice additions to all the amenities this home had including the outdoor sitting space, game area, extra blankets, luggage racks & fans. We loved the location in Tech Terrace and highly recommend this home!

Close to Ŧ Texas Tech with lots of space

The home was well kept, clean, and roomie. Great communication from property manager. Nice, quiet neighborhood that’s next to a park for family or pets to enjoy. We used the grill, fire pit, and games that were there. Kitchen it stocked with what you would need to cook with and restrooms have complimentary shampoos, conditioners, lotions, and body soaps. Pets have an area for their food and water and bags to help keep back yard clean from pets waste. No garage parking, but enough room in drive way for large suv. Would stay here again.

Celebrating my freshman at Tech

We traveled to Lubbock to celebrate my son’s birthday. The home had plenty of seating for the 7 of us in the living room. And we enjoyed family games at the dining room table.I really like staying in the Tech Terrace area. It’s convenient to anything you want to do in Lubbock.Grab a coffee at J&B Coffee. It was so good!While we loved a lot of things about our stay, we had some struggles. One of the bathroom doors would not close and we just could not get the temperature comfortable for both upstairs and downstairs.

14th bday sleep over

We had our daughters 14th birthday slumber party here! The girls loved the game room and backyard fire pit and also that it was directly across the street from the park. The double beds in the upstairs rooms were perfect for the sleep over! We emote our stay!

Perfect Location, Magical Backyard

Everything you need for your family's visit to TTU -- close to the University and plenty of room to run at the nearby park. Heavy duty Adirondack chairs, grill and firepit made for a magical evening.

Great Spot For A Family!

We stayed here on our way from Austin to New Mexico and it was great for our family of 6. The park was right across the street, there was a coffee shop a couple of blocks away, and it had plenty of space for everyone. We would definitely stay here again!

Great location!!

My husband and I stayed at this charming house for our son’s “mom’s weekend” at Tech. The location was perfect and our two little furbabies loved walking to the park. The house was well appointed and comfortable with welcoming snacks and even dog bowls :) Will definitely stay again!!

Great place!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Blue Topaz! The house was very clean and all of the furnishings were very nice. We were able to celebrate Thanksgiving with our family at the house and it was great!
