Overall, John, the owner was extremely hospitable and easy to communicate with-- he met our requests with ease. However, we had an issue with the AC in the master-bedroom-- it was running too low (66) and would not adjust or shut off, making the night very uncomfortable for us, so we had to sleep in the other queen bedroom with our toddler for 6 of our 7 nights, before it was fixed. No fault of the owner at all, but definitely made for an uncomfortable sleeping experience for the majority of our stay. The property is beautiful, neat and clean. The staff are pleasant. The pools are beautiful.Access to Cupecoy Beach is not easy, especially if you have small children-- so would not rely on this beach, but rather have to walk/drive to neighboring Mullet Bay Beach. The access to Cupecoy is down a set of steps, but with a huge rock formation on the beach which you have to climb over-- unsafe in general and depending on tide levels could become obscured by water making it further treacherous. Strip of beach is small and by afternoon water does get high. Not a place for small children in my opinion. Wish they would advise of this prior to, since it really does limit your access to the private beach.
