Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet place to stay. Very clean and we equip rooms and easy parking at the door. Owner was very accomodating and lovely.

A lovely little place to stay, not fancy in terms of rooms and facilities, but a nice area and close to local wineries and restaurants without the crazy price tag of some other places.

A fantastic place to stay with amazing views and comfy rooms! It was so quiet, relaxing & the kids had so much fun running around the ample amounts of grass and having a picnic near the fire pit. Will definitely be coming back this year and recommending to family & friends!

what i liked about our stay was that it as safe and quite very pleasing. What i did not like was that there was no house keeping done. can not use the excuse because of Covid they were not doing it. should not be operating in that case

Lovely place to stay! Clean, stocked for breakfast, kangaroos and birds performing their antics, and plenty of easy parking. Only suggestion would be to upgrade the mattress to a firmer one. Otherwise perfect stay!

It is a clean peaceful site. Relaxing and you can do what you want. Lovedale is a great area. Access to many options wineries, restaurants etc. Only thing missing was a swimming pool which would have been ideal on a 34 degree day..

Very well set out property and the common lounge area was a welcome addition to share meals with friends. Stunning views from all bedrooms. Only thing that could improve is water pressure as shower was poor. A lovely place overall

Property is in a gorgeous location with many options nearby, a few to walk to more to drive under 5 minutes to. Our rate included a light breakfast but it was very rudimentary. Hunter Valley is expensive and I felt this rate could be accepted more readily with access to Internet TV and a broader range of breakfast option - eg not just weetbix! There was only glass recycling options.

Thank you for taking the time to review, our light breakfast also includes peaches, orange juice, milk tea and coffee also either banana bread of bread for toasting with butter jams etc. We have modified our range due to the Covid 19 to make sure everything is fresh and packaged correctly.

The shower required a mop which was provided but broken and so the open plan bathroom was wet and felt unsafe. The back door had a few cm gap that allowed bugs inside even when the lights were off so it was difficult to sleep with mozzies etc, especially for our infant. The morning breakfast was lovely and the staff friendly. Great location for a morning walk.

it was lovely to meet all of your and thank you for taking the time to review. all our rooms do have personal spray and insect spray in the rooms,unfortunately the wet weather has produced more than usual. for this time of the year. the mop has been replaced our cleaners had not replaced it into the room so sorry. we look forward to seeing you again when next in the Hunter Valley

This would have to be the best value accommodation in the Hunter Valley. 13 minutes from the Roche Estate yet far away for peace and quiet. The on site guest kitchen is awesome

Loved everything! Rooms were clean and pretty. Amenities were clean. Bedding was clean and crispy. Loved the common room which had everything. The owners have thought of everything. Fireplace amazing! Highly recommend this place.

Great and friendly customer service. Log fire available in the communal area. Air conditioning and electric blankets also available in your room for those colder nights. It was a quiet and peaceful area to stay. Highly recommend.

A small peaceful winery to relax
A pleasant stay with clean room in a small quiet winery. With good restaurants and wineries in Hunter valley, Rothbury Escape is quite convenient, within 10-20 mins drive from most of them.
