Lovely villa

A very well appointed villa, spacious with comfortable beds and a great location for the tennis and Padel. Would definitely stay here again if we visit VDL in the future.

Fantastic holiday

Fantastic holiday in a beautiful villa. So convenient for the pool and tennis at The Tennis Academy and close to restaurants too,. The villa has been beautifully refurbished and is well equipped. I would certainly return for more holidays.

Vale do Lobo July 24

Photos do not do this villa justice, much more spacious inside than it looks. Perfect location being a 20 minute walk to the beach. Ubers very cheap if you don’t have a car. Management agency and owner very pleasant and efficient. Would highly recommend.

FABULOUS!

Beautiful 'home from home'. The owner has really taken care to furnish the villa to a high standard with good quality items. 3 beautiful terraces to sit quietly and enjoy the sunshine or mix and mingle with family. Great location, 2 minutes from the tennis academy and within good walking distance of the beach. Very enjoyable holiday and looking forward to returning!

Perfect

Just spent nearly 2 weeks here. The villa was spacious (with the most comfortable sofa EVER ! )for our family of 4 and the location is perfect for both the Praca and Julia’s beach. Uber’s are always available within minutes and the restaurants are superb. Two must visit places are BJ’s on music days and The Shack for the kids. The tennis academy is minutes away although the swimming pool area and gym is a bit tired so my suggestion is to head to the beach. We would definitely stay here again

Lovely villa, great location

The villa was just as described and very clean and tidy on arrival. Location was perfect - quiet, and close to tennis club where we used the gym and pool. Gill, the owner, was really helpful before we went, providing us with lots of information and recommendations. We were a party of 6, with our 2 teenage children each having a friend with them. We ate in most evenings and barbecued which was great. The supermarket on site recently re-opened and was very well-stocked. We didn't hire a car so did 2 trips by taxi (Gill's recommendation of Jose and Patricia's taxi service was excellent) to supermarkets in Almancil then used the circuit bus to access the on-site supermarket. All in all, this was a great place to stay and we would definitely recommend it.

Villa 922 Vale do Lobo

Staying at Vale da Lobe was perfect, there was nothing that the owner hadn't thought of when it comes to a home . The house was beautiful but with a warm touch , 3 good sized bedrooms loads of cupboard space which is always needed , plus excellent I pod system for us music lovers and cable if you just fancy a quiet night in . Near by are Tennis Courts with a pool area perfect for children, food is good and the staff were very helpful, next to the courts was Ken Lo Resturant which we visited a few times excellent food plus take away service too . The walk to to the main restaurants is around 20 mins but worth it , every type of is there plus a wonderful beach and marvellous views . I would definitely go again , it's the first time I had been to Portugal and its won't be my last. Stewart and Jennine

This is a superior & artisticly designed property

This villa is stunning, with all the mod cons. The villa was very clean and Gill was very helpful before, during and after our stay giving us the inside information. The description given for the Villa was excellent and if anything didn't give it enough praise, but you cannot really describe atmosphere - and it's got an abundance of that - you can make it what it is. If the weather is good it's easy access to two quiet and peaceful beaches, the better being by Marias restaurent (they provide towels). Julia's beach is also excellent, and you can easily get a snack lunch. If the weather isn't really bright - one can easily stay at the villa without getting bored - ample games, TV, music and books. Very easy access to the Tennis Academy whose facilities (pool, snack bar and bar) come with the villa. Brilliant, relaxing holiday - very reticent to return to England! Would recommend the Villa and the area to anyone.

luxurious

Wow !. what a relaxing time in a beautiful villa..the interior was lovely....the decor superb...fabulous comfy sofas too while away a few hours listening to the music system/watching TV/ by a cosy fire (evenings late Sept a little chilly) after a day sightseeing/shopping /eating delicious food in local restaurants......the decor is superb in the well proportioned rooms through out this villa which sets it apart from some of the others on the complex. Plenty of space good lay out with 2 bathrooms ideal for families and/or a group of friends .A well equipped kitchen and the lovely terrace at the top ...we had a totally relaxing time....it was really well maintained very clean super comfy beds .....and with all we needed for a great trip. A very informative booklet left by the owner describing all on offer in the local area with 'tips' on their favourite places......i wouldnt hesitate to recommend this property to anyone thinking of visiting Val do Lobo......

A Luxury home-from-home but in the sun!

I stayed at this welcoming villa with two girlfriends over Easter and had a relaxing and very enjoyable stay. It was like having a luxury home – away from home – but in the sun. The villa is extremely well equipped, the owner seemed to have thought of everything we could possibly need, and catered for it. The place was beautifully clean, with white walls, marble tiled floors and trendy purple sofas with huge squishy cushions. We all slept very well and whether this was due to the comfortable beds, quality of the bed linen or quiet location of the villa, it is hard to say. I particularly loved the choices of outdoor places to sit. The views from the roof terrace were lovely and a great spot for sunbathing. The side balcony on the first floor was a little sanctuary for reading and the table in the front garden became a popular & sociable venue whenever we ate in. And when the temperature soars you can pop across to the nearby tennis club for a drink and a swim in their pool. We are already planning to return later this year!

Home from home

This villa is probably one of the best in the Tennis Valley area being les than five minutes walk away from the courts and pool (a little old but not too busy). Parking is just a few steps away and there is a playground for small children outside. It has a new marble topped, very well equipped kitchen. The lounge has a new suite which is extremely comfortable, cable TV and Internet. There are games and lots of good books to borrow. The bedrooms all have new quality beds with crisp linens and duvets and lots of storage. There are soft white towels for inside and beach towels for each guest. There is sunny patio with a stylish dining set and two terraces with sun beds and reclining chairs so you never miss a sun ray. Twenty minutes walk in either direction will lead you to the beautiful sandy beach with Maria's restaurant at one end and a host of others at the Praca square which has nightly entertainment. The resort is secure as it is policed by its own private security and is ideal for families giving teens freedom to roam and there is an upmarket fee paying crèche called Kangaroo near the Praca for little ones. While we stayed there were lots of premiership footballers at the Praca at night and we also met Marvin and Rochelle Humes which pleased the kids

Amazing Stay!

Super location in Vale Do Lobo

Our family had a super stay at Gill’s villa. Perfectly positioned by the tennis club, equidistant from the Praca and the restaurants on Garrao beach. House is spacious and comfy, quiet position. Perfect stay. Gill was easy to communicate with. Also Uber was incredibly reasonable, €5 trip to Julias’s etc so we didn’t rent a car which was lovely.

Casa simpática numa zona calma

A estadia correu bem, a casa é fresca, com A/c nos quartos, boa arrumação, Tv com vários canais, espaçosa e um terraço com mesa para jantar. Pontos negativos, não tinha uma simples vassoura nem pá nem esfregona, nem panos de cozinha, tudo equipamentos issenciais para uma semana de férias onde o serviço de limpeza não apareceu ou não estava contemplado

Fabulous villa, fantastic host

Lovely, clean, comfortable villa presented to a very high standard. The villa sits in a quiet part of the resort, with easy access to the tennis club, praca/beach and golf club. Lovely comfortable bed, fabulous living space with the most sumptuous sofas. Well equipped kitchen with good quality equipment. Gill as a host was fantastic, quick to respond and so supportive in allowing us if needed due to flight changes to a full refund. Thankfully we were able to stay in Gill's lovely home. We hope to be back again in the future.

Great villa. Home from home.

The villa was perfect for what we wanted and could afford. Has all the creature comforts you could want on holiday which helps you relax. Has aircon but we hardly needed to use it as it stays very cool. Pool with cafe is very convenient but beach is amazing so spent most time there. All in all highly recommended.

Lovely Villa and great host

We had a lovely stay at Gill’s villa. She is a very responsive and helpful host and quick to respond. The Villa has new bathrooms and kitchen and is extremely comfortable. Kitchen is well equipped. We breakfasted on the downstairs terrace every morning which was quiet and is screened by bushes. We enjoyed use of the tennis club pool and gym as part of the package. It’s a great location- right by the tennis academy and within easy walking distance of the Praca. We highly recommend and would love to visit again. A great holiday.
