The room had a smell. The bathroom tub had stains in it. The shower curtain was dirty. The ceiling had water stains and around the toilet looked like mold. The couch had stains on it. The worst place I ever stayed at!

I would’ve gave more stars but there is false advertising with the seasonal pool.. I was staying at the motel during a heatwave and bought a swimsuit just to see the pool had a tadpole pond in it with vegetation growing out of it! The cleaning staff didn’t clean my father’s room.The young lady at the front desk was delightful and gave great service. Also the staff were friendly. However they just need to tighten up the motel and it could be the best in that small town.

The beds was good. But the in-room coffee pot didn't work and the replacement didn't work either plus they didn't even leave coffee either. The air conditioner was cool but was loud. The venting machine was empty. The breakfast was non existent. But in Louisburg you don't have any other choice.

One and two issues continental breakfast was horrible Mimi muffins and stand alone coffee. Sheets on second bed were dirty but staff that night provided sheets. But housekeeping the next day was on point she came in changed everything on that bed .

The place is a total dump, hallway was flooded, first room smelled of bleach and second room smelled of stale cigarettes. The bathroom was nasty and run down, the floors were spongy with water coming out of the joints when stepping. The place should be demolished.

If you're planning to stay in Louisburg for more than a day, this hotel was a great find. I stayed 3 nights , 4 days and it was just under $400 for two people. The room was spacious and relatively tidy for the most part but despite appearances this hotel seems to be in something of a transitional phase. It definitely used to be a days inn at some point and I can only assume it used to have more staffing and some amenities in the past. Driving in from New York the doors were open at 12:45am and I was able to get my room. After being out of the room for the majority of the next day when me and my girl return to our room around 2:00 a.m. we had realized that our room had not been serviced and our towels were not refreshed. At 2:00 a.m. the establishment was liminal space. No staff to be found. The next morning before I went off to my brother's wedding I told the clerk at the front desk that my room needed new towels twice. When we returned from our festivities they had given us new towels but only one regular sized and a handful of hand towels they also did not take our dirty towels which we had set up in Plain view. All in all I've stayed at more homely inns and or hotels but had better service. I'm sure if they are able to hire more staff they'd be able to handle guest linens in a timely fashion like practically all other places do. In conclusion my stay could have been worse but it also could have been better and that wouldn't have taken much.

Very Disappointing and Unacceptable The room was absolutely disgusting and not up to acceptable hotel standards. There were blood stains and other stains on the pillow, and there was hair on the sheets. The bathroom door was falling off, and the toilet paper holder was coming out of the wall. To make matters worse, the pool was green and completely unusable during our stay. Overall, the condition of the room and hotel was extremely disappointing. Basic cleanliness, maintenance, and guest safety should be a minimum expectation, and this hotel failed to meet those standards. I would not recommend staying here unless significant improvements are made.
