「The apartment was perfect for 1-2 people and even a small child. It was very clean and better than the pictures especially when you open he curtains. The bed was comfortable and it's one of the few places with AC. Shernie & Glen were very nice. The only downside is there are a lot of stairs which was mentioned. I will pack less next time. Definitely would stay again」

「Berkey himself is a gracious, helpful, and thoughtful host. His communications are excellent and once there, he will be there for you. He attends to details and has pride in this hideaway. It requires a walk up ~40 steep steps but once on top, your are in a beautiful valley with wildlife and jungle sounds. 「We stayed with Kevin twice during our 2-week trip to Dominica. Kevin's place is clean and comfortable, and he's a great cook!
Kevin also organizes tours of the Kalinago territory, and I would greatly recommend it! We got to meet local people who showed us and invited us to participate in various aspects of Kalinago culture. I had looked for an experience like this online but couldn't find one.

「Overall we loved it, though it would have been good to know that you can't drive to the hotel if you don't have a proper 4WD as it is located at the end of a long and steep tarished road. Luckily the hotel offers an transport service for the dirty road between 8am and 5pm.
They also offer food(preorder only) and drinks at the bar. The staff was very nice and always helpful. Our favourite was the weekday driver.
The cottage had a very nice kitchen unfortunately not much utensils in it...
