Paid over $1,000 for two nights and got 3-star service at best. Staff wasn’t friendly or attentive, towels and pillowcases smelled bad (even “fresh” ones), valet was nowhere to be found, and elevator security didn’t work.
Worst part—was told late checkout to 12:30pm was complimentary, but got charged $30 anyway, plus extra fees on top of my $870 booking total. Not about the money—it’s the shady practice.
I’ll stay across the street at the Fairmont next time. Worth every extra dollar compared to this experience.
