Let me preface my comments by saying that we have stayed in dozens of vacation rentals. The 360-degree views of the Palos Verdes peninsula to Malibu over the rooftops is wonderful, in addition to its proximity to Manhattan pier and the action. The unit was comfortable, the furniture is in good condition, and the kitchen was well stocked. But it is starting to show its age with worn cabinetry finishes, floor molding, rusted metal finishes (common near the ocean) and a bit of a smell (possibly pet) in the bedrooms. Additionally, the building and the neighboring building to the east is in need of some TLC. As you walk downstairs, you're met with a junkyard of items under next door's stairwell. I mention this all because of its nightly price as summer approaches.
