Part 1 of 3 :
Worst accommodation experience of all the trips I've made in my life. Firstly, I booked with Expedia, check-in was scheduled for 2pm, I arrived for 2.15pm, they shouted at me (Dylan) that check-in was at 3pm and not 2pm, so it was already off to a good start, and what's more, they told me it wasn't this accommodation but the other one (stylish hostel and modern hostel are managed by the same person, so this comment applies to both). Once check-in starts, I'm told that the hostel (which isn't a hostel at all, it's more like a huge 3-storey house with no common rooms and only rooms with bunk beds) was closing on July 12 and that I had to request a refund from Expedia. So not only do I have to deal with the administrative side of things, but I also have to find another place to stay... nice, but I wasn't too happy about the news, and to top it all off, I was told that I could only take 2 pieces of luggage, and that this was indicated in the rules (I took a photo of the rules and it wasn't indicated anywhere). I had 3 because I'd come from a friend's house and hadn't necessarily arranged my things so that they would fit into 2 suitcases. So he offered to keep one of my suitcases for $5... and I knew I'd never set foot in that hostel again once I'd left. I'm escorted to my room: 3 bunk beds in 10m2 I assure you, this is no joke. There are 6 of us sleeping in 10m2. The only common room is the kitchen, which isn't the worst place.
