The stay was nice, great location and staff. However, although the room is gorgeous, especially the bathroom, there were a lot of run down parts where you can clearly see damage from either wear and tear or previous guests. It was pretty expensive but its also Downtown LA. Overall it was reasonable, and I would consider staying there again.

we only stayed for one night but the room was great and the staff was exceptional. My only ding is that I didn't realize that the only parking option is valet which I know is the case for most hotels in the area so shame on me for not reading the fine print, i guess. We prefer self parking for in and out all day.

There wa no clear value from the place other than staying there. There is breakfast and it’s expensive, parking is horribly expensive and the area around is not safe to leave the car in the street.

It was a wonderful hotel. The exterior, the room, and the bathroom—all were clean and well-maintained. The staff were also nice. During our stay, we didn’t see any other Japanese guests besides ourselves. Although it’s located in downtown, it’s a bit away from the central area, so I think the neighborhood felt safe.
