We stayed at Hotel Burbank for 3 nights for my son’s birthday weekend. The location was definitely a highlight. It’s in a nice neighborhood, close to restaurants, shops, and major attractions. The area felt safe and walkable, which was a big plus.
The hotel itself was clean, but the room felt a bit outdated. It served its purpose, but definitely could use some cosmetic updates in the rooms. Parking was $28 per night, which added up quickly. We paid over $80 for our stay. That felt a bit steep, especially considering the overall value.
One major disappointment was the arcade. The hotel advertises that they have one, but when I asked the front desk, I was told there is no arcade at all. That was actually a big reason I chose this hotel. I was planning my son’s birthday weekend and thought it would be something fun for him to enjoy on-site. It was really frustrating to find out that wasn’t actually available.
That said, we did enjoy the pool during our stay, which was clean and a nice break from the heat.
Overall, the location is great and the hotel is clean, but the amenities don’t fully match the advertising, and the extra charges (like parking) really add up. I’d recommend double-checking with the hotel before booking if there’s a specific amenity you’re looking forward to.
