"We chose the hotel because of its good rating (>8), but this is not at all true to the current state. The rooms had the basics, but were not clean (except for the sheets), borderlining dirty also in the washrooms, and with no toilet paper. We found /got rid of two cockroaches. "We booked A/C rooms based on the very clean and upscale photos the property had posted on all online sites, however when we got there the address didn't even have a PPH Railotel property. Instead we were directed to a dilapidated Hotel Sree Murugan - with torn furniture and amenities from the 90s. "I am surprised that this is a well liked property. Most staff don’t understand English or Tamil. Property had a musky odor in hall ways. The room had a weird smell and I decided to cut my losses and checkout a day early. Will never recommend this property to anyone. On top of that, Ginger blatantly violates government order by not providing dormitory facility for drivers. I will also be reporting this facility to the Government of Tamil Nadu"
