"Die Wohnung war sehr kalt und wurde trotz Heizung höher stellen nicht warm ( Außentemperatur waren -11C). Die Wohnungen hatten einen unangenehm geruch ( modrich). Das Bett macht sehr starke Knarrende Geräusche das ich nicht schlafen konnte. Das andere Schlafzimmer mit zwei Einzelbetten sehr leise und schön dunkel.Kleinigkeiten fehlten: keine Warmhaltekanne, nur sehr dünne Handtücher im Bad und kleine Gästehandtücher, Fernseher ohne ARD und ZDF, keine Geschirrspülmaschine."

Es fehlte uns an nichts und wenn, waren wir nur eine Klingel entfernt und uns wurde sehr gerne geholfen. Die Gegend ist auch wunderschön. Kanu fahren, Kletterwald, Tierpark und eine super Badestelle mit Spielplatz und Bistro/Beachbar fußläufig. Würden wir jederzeit wieder buchen."

"Our one night stay was good, but the listing could use some better descriptors. It is only a one bedroom (not 2) with a living room pull out couch sofa as the second. The bathroom is really tiny, there is no designated parking (only free street parking), and you have to walk 4 flights of stairs (no elevator). All in all a perfectly ok stay. We were happy with the easy walkability to a grocery store and everything in the kitchen was great for cooking ourselves. "

"Pros: Gerade die ruhige Lage war der ausschlaggebende Grund, warum wir diese Ferienwohnung ausgesucht hatten. Und wir wurden nicht enttäuscht. Wir konnten die (auch weitläufige) Umgebung sehr gut erkunden. Und die Vermieterin war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Cons: Da das Gäste-WLAN täglich neu aktiviert werden musste, das aber nicht jeden Tag klappte, mussten wir des öfteren auf das Handy-Netz ausweichen. "Check in was easy and fast. The desk staff were very nice and helpful. There was a bad smell in the main hallway down to the room elevators, I’m not sure what caused that but it was pretty bad. Our room was pretty clean. The breakfast is expensive but there’s quite a selection. There needs to be more than just one coffee machine, however. The parking garage is a nightmare! Tiny spaces, tight corners, and you had to go through two doors to get to the elevator. Those doors should be changed to automatic opening doors."

"The building is impressive with its great lobby (of perhaps faded art deco glamour) of another era. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is not modern and fancy, but clean and functional. Room was very comfortable. Kiel is spread out and the hotel is a bit far to walk with luggage, as I discovered, but a straight shot to train station and downtown. The terrace in front of lobby was a nice place to sit to enjoy the breezes and chill (it's Kiel!), at least until smokers claim it as their own. The breakfast area is very nice and the breakfast excellent: I highly recommend the breakfast, on its merits, but especially since there are few restaurants nearby."
