We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The breakfast was excellent and the rooms are very nice. A quirky little town best known for being the most northern town in the world, a gateway for many Arctic expeditions (hiking, cruising, wildlife). You can't go beyond the immediate town environs without an armed guard because of polar bears.

So many options on what to do and see; most tour operators will pick you up and drop off at hotel, making getting to any activities manageable despite any weather conditions. People are friendly and the geography is just breath-taking.
